Family & friends - great getaway

We had 14 family members and friends at this property – it’s listed that it sleeps 16 – we did not feel crowded at all. First impressions are amazing. The rooms, especially the themed bedrooms, are wonderful. Minor annoyances (the foosball ball was chipped and didn’t roll well; the power cord to the air hockey table was broken, the toilet paper holder on the wall was falling off) but nothing major – it’s a very beautiful house. I rated the location low because four out of our seven nights there were kids/young adults in the street at all hours of the night; they were raucous, loud, and some of them were racing/revving their cars – very disruptive for sleeping, but that’s no fault of the host. Heather (our host) was great. We purchased the “heated pool” option, but unfortunately had bad luck (again). This is our third consecutive time we’ve rented at Storey Lake and each time the heated pool has not worked. To Heather’s credit, she promptly had maintenance come to check out the problem, but it wasn’t until the last day of our stay that they seemed to have finally figured it out. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property.
