Overall great stay. Beach access very close and beautiful small beach. Cozy accommodations, cottage feel. Great location between Saugatuck and South Haven.

The house was spacious and the upper level pool table/ entertainment room was great for our family. The pictures show a lake view but the trees and overgrowth blocked our view. The yard also looks more private and larger than the pictures let on. There are close neighbors all around.

Enjoyed our stay and giving it 5 stars across the board. I will mention the fruit fly situation was pretty extreme. Covering all the dishes on the shelves, in all bathrooms, light fixtures in the kitchen. Just a lot. However I don't know that that issue was the fault of the owner. It looked like all measures were taken to combat it but it's was just too many to control. Perhaps the time of year lends itself to the problem. There were 100's of them. The property was very nice and clean. Quick response from property manager when we had a question. Beach was beautiful but it is a 1/4 mile from the property and I was questioned by a woman on the beach. She actually waited on the steps up from the beach for me and asked me several questions about where I was staying, when I checked in, when I was leaving...etc. I get that maybe neighbors in the area have concerns about ppl coming on the private beach but it was a bit excessive. Overall I'm saying 5 stars because the property was as listed and the area was stunning. Check out process was very easy and I appreciated that very much.

Nice quiet girls weekend. Good accommodations plenty of room. Stairs to Lake Michigan were a short walk away. Well equipped kitchen. Easy drive to Saugatuck for shopping and dining.

Friends get away

We had 4 families and the place had plenty of space for us. Lots of steps to get down to the beach so pack light but having the neighborhood private beach in walking distance area was so nice to have. Great stay all around.

The home was just as described and our family of 11 fit comfortably. We enjoyed the walk to the beach and how convenient it was to get to South Haven and Saugatuck. Linda, the host was very informative and fast to replying to any questions we had. We had the best family vacation!

We had a large group of 12 and the property had plenty of space for everyone. The backyard and fire pit area was nice. Communication with the host was very good. Beach access was a bit farther and harder to access than anticipated. Overall a nice place for larger groups.

Nice house, quiet community

The property was nice, with a good view of the lake. Small, quiet community outside of town, but a short easy drive to downtown.

We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday at this property. We could not have asked for a more perfect weekend. The house is clean and very comfortable. Lake Michigan was just a couple of minute walk down a quaint country road and the beach was spectacular. We even forgot a Nintendo Switch and the owner mailed it back without a moment's hesitation. This was a great experience, highly recommend

Wonderful lake house!

Great last minute stay with my daughters. The house was gorgeous, comfortable and clean! And we loved the pool table and hot tub. Also very relaxing setting and location - in a quiet neighborhood between South Haven and Saugatuck. Would definitely return and recommend!

Beautiful Lake House!

This property is everything it’s advertised to be! It was perfect for our group of seven adults. We loved the view and the sound of the waves, and it’s just a short walk to the beach access. We were so impressed with the cleanliness and the beautiful decor. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable - all of us slept great. The owner was also very responsive to all the questions we had. I would definitely recommend this property. I know we’ll be back!

Perfect Place to Stay!

This place is cute, roomy, and felt like a home the moment we entered. There are so many places around the property to hang out together. From the hot tub, to the pool table, to the toys which my 3-year-old loved, we were entertained whenever we were there.The private beach is incredibly nice and beautiful. In June there were only ever a few other families there, so we were spread out and there was lots of space. South Haven is not far at all, so there is pretty quick access to anything you need or things to do, and St. Joseph isn't a bad drive to spend a day or more.I had a few questions for the property manager this trip, and she was extremely helpful and responded promptly.We will certainly consider this place again! Thank you!

Overall, we had a great stay! The house was a good size for our group of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids). The kitchen and living spaces are nicely appointed and comfortable. We really loved the view of the sunset from the backyard! There were a few minor issues that came up during our stay that were quickly addressed by the owner. Our only real issue was how high and steep the beach stairs were leading to the private beach. The beach itself was beautiful, and it was fun to be the only people there. But the access stairs were much steeper and more challenging than I had expected for the older adults and young children in our group. We only visited that beach one time because of this and chose to drive to other more accessible beaches.
