Dover Bay Bungalow | 3 Bed, 2 Bath

Nicknamed 'Great Expectations', this Dover Bay Resort bungalow is one of the *largest* available and overlooks an estuary and Brown's Inlet. Enjoy incredible sunsets and the wildlife that abounds here including: a wide variety of ducks, geese, osprey, eagle, deer, moose and of course tons of fish!

With three bedrooms, two full baths, a two car garage, this fully appointed home also includes a covered deck with inviting outdoor furnishings and propane BBQ (propane provided). Your dog is welcome with a $125 pet fee. Please review the terms and conditions in the reservation agreement.

Note: Lake Club Fitness is privately owned and is unfortunately not open to vacation rental guests at this home.

Dover Bay Resort offers a marina, boat and jet ski rentals, DISH restaurant, convenience store and miles upon miles of paved trails for walking, biking and exploring. Located just 3 miles from downtown Sandpoint (with a paved and separated bike trail to town) and just 25 minutes to Schweitzer Mountain this is an ideal location year round. Balto Park (located off Lakeshore Avenue and behind City Hall in Dover Bay Resort) provides lake, swimming and beach access, great green grass areas, dog friendly (dogs must be on leash), a playground and paths and bridges for crossing Brown's Inlet itself.

Weekend getaway

Great location with lots to do. Perf3ct for our dogs with places to walk them and the lake to swim. Definitely will be back.

Very nice property with a beautiful view. Well stocked kitchen. Easy access to beach areas and Sandpoint. Very nice accommodation and comfortable front deck area. Enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location in Dover

We loved our stay in Dover. The location is perfect with an amazing view out the front of the unit. Kitchen and entire home are spacious. We loved everything about it.

Vaca in Sandpoint (Dover)

Spent 5 nights in this wonderful community. Hiked, paddle boarded, played with the dog, etc, etc, etc!! Wonderful time!!!

Family get away

This was perfect! The view was incredible and it was so quiet. We stay in a lot of rentals and this was by far the cleanest! We come to this area every year as I am from here and come to see family and friends. This will be my go to from now on.

Incredible Stay

My family and I had an absolutely incredible time here. Can’t explain how peaceful the home and area are. The home was incredibly clean and well presented, it felt like we were the first guests to ever stay at the home. The location is in a serene community near the marina, parks and walking paths with an easy travel distance to Sandpoint. We are so grateful for the time we spent here and look forward to coming back soon!

A Beautiful Spot at a Great Location

Our stay here could not have been better. This property included everything we were looking for including beautiful views views and daylight from every direction. It was also nice to have a garage at this location for our bikes and SUP’s when not in use besides providing our vehicle parking. The photos did not show a BBQ but there is one located conveniently up front.

Out of season getaway

This place was better than I imagined or even was listed. It was a perfect place to relax and have some quality down time. Close enough to Sandpoint to enjoy their amazing restaurants. The only weird thing is you can't access the house from the garage and the garage was small. We had to park our truck sideways to close the door. Would recommend it especially in the office season when it's super quiet.

Lovely!

This home is just lovely. New, clean, stylish and beautiful. Very up to date furnishings and decor. Would stay here again if we are in the area! Love that it was so private off the back deck/entrance! Random things to note: A real bed in the 2nd small bedroom would be nice. The futon was fine for a teen, but feel like if it had been a real bed- even a single, we would have had more sleeping arrangement choices for extended family. Odd issue with the address: google maps kept mapping us to a different house in the neighborhood. Check-in instructions say to include an * with key code, but no * button on keypad. We figured it out eventually. Oh- we also had to contact (with text only) for help when we accidentally left the garage door opener in the car/garage. There is no access to the garage from inside the house and no key for the exterior garage door. Thankfully, they responded within about 20 minutes with the garage code so we could access our car and make it to our event.
