Welcome to Dover Dreamer!

This modern-vintage spacious home has all you need for a relaxing and cozy stay in historic Dover.
Each bedroom has memory foam bed: California King Med-firm in the first bedroom and Medium Queen in the second bedroom, walk-in closet, and extra plush blankets for your comfort.
The living room is furnished with a couch, and comfy recliner so you can kick back and enjoy the fireplace in the winter or sit and visit during the summer.
The family room is furnished with 2 sleeper sofas, HD Fire TV, and of course, plush blankets.
Located in the historic part of Dover, Idaho, in a calm a peaceful neighborhood with a fully fenced private backyard, you’ll have space, a fire pit, and outside seating for your outdoor pleasure. A few blocks away is the Dover Bay Resort and Marina, with public beach access, watercraft rental, fitness area, Dish restaurant, and small market.

Surrounding you are over 9 miles of walking and bike trails. Take a walk around the quaint little town of
Dover and Dover Bay. The Sandpoint bike path will take you 3 miles into the Sandpoint for shopping,
beaches, or night life.
Schweitzer Mountain Resort is located 25 minutes away for those looking to hit the slopes

Please be courteous to the neighbors and respect the quiet hours from 10PM to 7AM. No parking on the street. The driveway has room for 3 cars.

Two cameras are located on the front of the property, facing the driveway/entry and two are located facing the alley for security only.

Lovely weekend away

We had a lovely stay while enjoying Sandpoint. Location close drive to downtown Sandpoint and close to Dover beach area. We had one small issue and the host went above and beyond to fix quickly and ensure we had a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Great house in Dover

Loved the backyard and the cool house - literally cool with the a/c and the fans! Which was perfect for the hot weekend. The kitchen is perfectly set up with all the appliances and dinnerware you would need. Perfect for families.

Great holiday house

This house had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday with 3 adults. The kitchen/bbq were excellent for cooking at home. AC units in the kitchen and family room kept the whole place cool. There is a bike path into the town of Sandpoint, and Dover is a lovely community to walk and bike around.

Charming house, perfect location

We knew we liked the Dover area and feel lucky this place was available. We were 2 blocks from an adorable coffee stand and a 10 minute walk to the water. The location was also ideal for our soccer tournament and was less than 10 minutes to downtown. The house itself was lovely. Beds were comfortable, the temperature was great and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Great place

Loved the rental house. It was perfect for our stay in Dover. Extremely close to Sandpoint and about a 30 minute drive to Schweitzer (the reason for our trip). We brought 3 kids aged 3-14. There was plenty of room for everyone. They especially loved the family room and movie/game selection. The house was well stocked! (We even made cookie and the house had everything we needed)

Cottage in Dover

We enjoyed this Whimsical Cottage in Dover Idaho. Everything we needed was there and more. Our biggest regret is that we didn't bring more people with us because there was plenty of room to socialize inside and in the lovely backyard. Only one drawback when we checked in mid-afternoon the front door latch was so hot because of the sunshine I couldn't touch it. We would definitely rent this property again.

This little house likes a sweet home

We had a very comfortable 3 nights stay at this sweet house. My kids enjoy making cushions castle and backyard adventure in the living room. I like the kitchen best. The owner prepared lots of cookwares for the guests. And the decoration of the kitchen is cute. We had a BBQ dinner one night. The house location is prefect. You can walk in the neighborhood see those beautiful houses and landscape. About 20 mins walking or 5 mins driving to the lakeside park. Drive to sandpoint is about 15 mins, then you can enjoy more water sports there. I like this sweet house and maybe will book it again or recommend to my friends. Thank you.

Quiet Cozy Place

Had a group trip to Glacier we broke into 2 day drive. Stayed here for a night and really liked it. It was well stocked for all of the things we needed in kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Liked the private back yard and quiet area. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, comfortable, well-appointed cottage

Dover Bay cottage was perfect for our 3-adult party looking for individual beds. We were pleasantly surprised with how well the kitchen was stocked with cookware and food staples, and the bedding was super comfy. Nice, quiet neighborhood close to Sandpoint but away from city lights and noise. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive. We would certainly stay here again.

Excellent base for skiing at Schweitzer

Plenty of room for 3-4 adults. Convenient, comfortable and great location for getting to the slopes. We would come here again next time we ski at Schweitzer. Thanks Nancy!

Great Place!

Stayed here for a ski vacation to Schweitzer mountain and had a great time, the house was perfect for our needs and the kitchen was great to make food in. If we are ever in the area again, we will look for this place first!

Great rental in old Dover!

Our family had a great holiday weekend! This home is nicely remodeled with a great layout and very spacious for 2 adults/2 kids. Close to Sandpoint and Schweitzer with easy walking distance to Dover Bay and the lake! Very responsive host and we will definitely stay here again!

Great Stay!!

Our family stayed here for just over a month and we’re so comfortable during our entire stay! All of the furniture was comfortable and clean. Not to mention all of the fuzzy warm blankets!! Nancy was so easy to communicate with for any questions and got back to us right away! Will recommend this stay to others for sure!

Owen and I were born and raised in this area and have always enjoyed calling this place home. We have 3 children and in the summer months you'll either find us out fishing, swimming, or picking berries when we're not working. We look forward to hosting your stay in this wonderful area, and thank you for considering our place.

This cottage is comfortable, roomy, and your cottage away from home. We've gone the extra length to include in this cottage what we've noticed lacked at other places we've stayed at over the years. We wanted to give this cottage that, "Welcome Home" feel so you can relax and unwind on your vacation, or, just take a moment for yourself.
During the spring and summer months, you can sit outside and listen to the birds singing during the day, or hear the frogs croaking at night.

The beds, couches, and chair are comfortable. Knowing some people don't care for soft and semi-soft mattress's, we made sure the sleeper sofas are firm and semi firm to give you a choice. There's nothing worse than vacationing on a bad nights sleep, and we want to help you avoid that.
