Costa Azul is a beautifully appointed Gulf-front escape offering the ideal blend of comfort, style, and an unbeatable location. Start your day with a cup of coffee on the patio as you soak in spectacular coastal views, or unwind in the evening while enjoying the peaceful ocean atmosphere.
This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom home features a thoughtfully designed kitchen with select stainless steel appliances, including a gas range and wine refrigerator, designer cabinetry, and granite countertops. The open layout flows seamlessly into the living area, where you can relax on the sofa and enjoy your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV.
The serene bedroom retreat includes a king-size bed, cozy sitting area, and a private bathroom with a double vanity, walk-in shower, and soaking tub—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Ideal for couples, this charming coastal hideaway is made for rest, reconnection, and romance.
Guests enjoy direct beach access via the boardwalk, along with access to both family and adults-only resort pools. The adults-only pool is heated from November 1 through March 1; during this period, children are permitted until 5:00 PM. Additional resort amenities include beach concierge services and golf cart rentals.
The home is also within walking distance of the neighboring Palmilla Beach Resort, where you can enjoy cocktails at Red's Patio Bar or lunch and dinner at Black Marlin—everything you need to create unforgettable memories in Port Aransas.
Please note: Port Aransas and Sunflower Beach Resort are developing areas, and construction activity may be present during your stay. Fireplace is decorative only.

Check in process is online by sending a copy of your identification to the rental to Silver Sands Vacation Rentals. There is a numerical keypad to retrieve the key to enter. The lockbox does not secure easily after opening it. The cabin is clean. There are swarms of mosquitoes that follow once you go outside. I was not aware the mosquito threat was extremely high. There are snakes of varying sizes that are around the cabin. They usually go under the cabin when you walk by them.

The cabin/little house was great!! My wife enjoyed the bathtub & it was every peaceful sitting on porch listing to the water fall in the pond. We will be coming back soon.

Love every minute of our stay at Casta Azul! Great place that was decorated beautifully, comfy bed and relaxing little porch with rocking chairs. Would definitely recommend!

The only problem we had was calling the maintenance guy and he was really rude. Told me he serviced over 400 homes and if I wanted him to come. The upstairs bathroom was leaking water when the fan was turned on. The community is very cute and will stay again

Our stay at Costa Azul in Sunflower was absolutely wonderful! We loved the house and all it had to offer. The bedding was heavenly and we slept great. We will definitely be back. Also, Raina went above and beyond while we were there. She was always prompt in our requests for chairs, umbrellas and a golf cart. She was so nice to work with. And the food at the cafe by the pool, Tortuga's was tasty! And the waitstaff was so kind and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

We had wonderful time in your facilities! The house we just right for the four of us. Access to the beach and pool were so easier. Loved the pool. Our golf cart rental was easy to use and we have friends staying at another place in their golf cart was very slow. We will be back.

The house itself was very nice and comfortable. However, it should have never been put on the rental market at this time due to the massive 6-day-a-week earthmoving project literally 30' from the door. They started at 7:00 each morning and, besides the constant noise, dust, and loud beeping, the house would shake constantly from the proximity of lots of large heavy earthmovers. All day every day except Sunday. Very very unpleasant. In addition, our fireplace and air-conditioning (mandatory, since we could not open the windows due to the dust and noise) didn't work. The AC was eventually fixed but the fireplace never was despite reporting it twice.

Costal Azul was exactly what it was advertised to be. The property was great and the community was great. Walking distance to the pool and the beach. Our kid had a blast! We’ll definitely be back to visit.

Small but beautiful

Costa Azul is a very up to date, well decorated, and stylish unit. It is great for a weekend getaway for a couple. It does have the upstairs room, but it isn’t really set up for a long stay at all. It doesn’t even have a bar to hang clothes. You can entertain a guest, but they need to be close friends as all of the shared spaces are in the downstairs unit. The ad claims it is steps from the beach, but it really is closer to a half mile walk. Also the pool, while beautiful, is several hundred yards. It’s also not “gulf view” at all. The kitchen doesn’t have an icemaker, which is a shame. It does have a lovely wine fridge. All in all, a wonderful stay, but some modifications should be made to the listing.

Relaxing Resort steps from the Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved Sunflower Resort and all the amenities. Costa Azul was cozy, clean, and convenient to the resort amenities, boardwalk to beach, and the Port A scene. We didn’t rent a golf cart due to the fact that they were restricted on the beach in observance of covid guidelines, but I would highly encourage renting one if there is no mandated beach restrictions. It would have been nice to have more towels, toilet paper, and trash bags, but having convenience stores near by and utilization of the washer/dryer, it wasn’t too much of a problem. We would definitely want to stay here again when vacation calls.

Great little spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This little cabin was a good spot to socially distance at the beach. Everything was very clean. We are a family of four, and our kids slept upstairs, which has a separate entrance. It wouldn't work for very young kids, but was ok for us. If you plan to cook a lot--the kitchen is well-stocked but small. We enjoyed sitting on the patio at night and listening to the frogs and birds in the pond. Right now, the resort has lots of new homes being built. Noise didn't bother us, and since it's not completed, there were just a handful of families staying there, and the pool was almost empty. Good for staying apart from people. We rented a golf cart from the resort, which is always the highlight for the kids. We also rented beach chairs and umbrellas from the resort, and they were set up by 11 each day; that's late in the day for kids and sometimes doesn't get you the nicest spot since it's along a public beach. However, it was great not to have to wrestle a canopy every day. Overall, we had a very nice time, and this resort will be even better once it's all completed.

New House just needed a couple of things

This was a brand new property. We were the first people other than the owners to stay in it. With anything new, there were just a couple of bumps along the way. The upstairs unit is on the outside. Didn't catch that in the description. The upstairs unit didn't have cable or any other service for the TV. The downstair had some very odd TV setup with nothing but apps no cable and no local stations to get news from. Needed laundry pods. The glaring thing that this unit is seriously missing is a pantry. We stay in homes with our little one and we tend to cook our meals. W/O a pantry that's a challenge.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was new, clean, and very nice. With any new place they'll be some kinks to work out. Nothing major. Upstairs TV wasn't hooked up to cable or any device so no TV. Downstairs didn't have cable but some odd device that didn't have local channels or any cable channels. It only had Netflix that was really usable. Laundry was missing pods to start the load they requested. ***No pantry! This is the deal killer. We're a family that likes to cook and this was made difficult w/o a pantry. All that said it was a very nice place in a great location.
