Kick back & relax in this fun, lively space. Escape the hustle & bustle in the allure of Sunset Shanty - a private rustic retreat. The Shanty is nestled in the woods, offering seclusion yet quick access to downtown Caseville. Enjoy the tranquility of the bay, a short walk to water access, or a short drive to the neighborhood beach, or five miles to the downtown beach. Swimming, sunbathing, boating, jet skiing, or kayaking- you name it. Maybe you're a hunter, hiker, or fisherman. Winter or summer, the Sunset Shanty is the perfect answer.
*Home is across from the lake but not on the beach- guests can walk to water access w/o a beach area within a block, also a nice sandy beach is a short 2-minute drive to the end of the road. Additionally, a very large public beach is downtown.
The space
This three-bedroom, two-bath cottage features comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 8 guests. Inside the cottage, you will find a spacious living area with plenty of natural light and a fully equipped kitchen that allows you to cook and prepare meals with ease. The bedrooms are decorated in a fun and lively Margaritaville theme and provide a comfortable place to rest after a day of outdoor activities. The bathrooms are stocked with essential amenities. The patio has a firepit, bbq, and plenty of lounging and dining space. No close neighbors. A large serene wooded lot with a large bonfire ring surrounded by wooded lots on both sides and back. Please note-due to the woodsy and rustic area, we don't guarantee to maintain the grill or the outside furniture regularly.

This is a lovely location. It’s quiet, across from Lake Huron, you can walk on the side of the road, however driving to the public lake access is not far. Tiffany is a very gracious and kind host. We will definitely stay there again when over that way.

Great location

We had a great time. Everything was clean and comfortable. The house was great and the yard was a wonderland for the kids. We were lucky to have a real nice spring day so we were outside all day. Will definitely stay here again.

Birthday getaway

This was the most relaxing getaway. I love the location and the house was awesome, we explored the city and cant forget about the deer that visit us this morning. Everything we needed was available. We definitely will stay again.

Cute home with that beachy 5:00 somewhere kinda of vibe going on..clean..inviting..had just about everything we needed. Could have used a toaster for breakfast, but other than that we were well satisfied. Beds were comfortable and walk in shower was great. The hostess Tiffany was very helpful and always responded to all questions and inquiries. We loved the early morning and dusk time visits of the deer also. Would recommend this property and hostess anytime.

Best Little Getaway!

Right across the street from Lake Huron, so close to Caseville!! House was very clean and stocked with anything we might possibly need. A much need, short relaxing getaway!! We will stay there again!! Tiffany the host was outstanding 💕

New Years Adventure

Fun Margaritaville Experience

I had no idea Caseville was such a Margaritaville town!! So much fun! Good food, really neat and unique shops, and great sunsets! I loved my stay in Caseville, and Sunset Shanty was a great place to call home for a few days. Very comfortable, all the amenities, fun decor, very clean, convenient location. My friend and I had a very nice, and fun, stay!!
