Jazzy Mid-Century Designer Home with Speakeasy
Welcome to Bliss on Berne, your Palm Springs home away from home! This mid-century modern retreat was developed by the Alexander Company and designed by the famed architect, William Krisel. Bliss on Berne is a spacious 3 bedroom home that sits on a generously oversized corner lot. This home has an open concept design with a combination of mid-century modern architecture and modern finishes. Thoughtfully furnished with a jazzy Palm Springs vibe without sacrificing any comfort or function.
It also has an extra flex space - we affectionately call The Speakeasy - that can be used as an office or additional seating area. Glass sliding doors from the living room, the speakeasy, and primary bedroom all open up to the spacious resort-style backyard.
OUTDOOR OASIS
This huge backyard is perfect for enjoying Palm Springs-style outdoor living with friends and family. You'll enjoy a private built-in pool/spa in a fenced backyard while sipping refreshing beverages and soaking in the sweeping views of the San Jacinto Mountains. Relax on the sun shelf in the pool after swimming laps in the 45 foot long pool, read a book on one of the four pool loungers, tell stories around a fire pit seating area, cook on the natural gas Weber grill, or dine al fresco in the centrally located, covered patio area. The clean, simple landscaping and underground power lines allow you to enjoy the unobstructed panoramic views of the mountains while relaxing in your outdoor oasis.
KITCHEN
The open concept kitchen is well-stocked. In addition to the usual primary appliances, there are nice touches like All Clad cookware and specialty small appliances such as panini press, waffle maker, Ninja blender, and Keurig.
OPEN CONCEPT GREAT ROOM
Living/Dining Room: Open concept Mountain views Seats 4 at dining table Additional (2) seating at the counter. Binge stream you favorite shows on the large 75" TV w/Roku. This area, like much of the house, flows seamlessly outside via sliding door access.
OFFICE/SPEAKEASY!
Adjacent to the kitchen, just off the dining area, is a separate room that doubles as a an office and SPEAKEASY. A large sliding barn door, painted with a custom retro mural, provides privacy so those early morning Zoom calls won't wake the household. Furnished with a desk and ergonomic chair on one end, the rest of the room feels like a hip, hidden away speakeasy with it's lively green and blue wallpaper, velvet retro seating, and bar cart. This room has direct access to the outside dining area and pool.

Sexy Primary Bedroom: King bed, Sliding wardrobe, Sliding door to access backyard Mountain views. Accent chair, Ensuite newly remodeled bathroom with shower and pool access door.

LOCATION
Alexander-Berne is situated in the heart of the Racquet Club Estates, just minutes away from downtown Palm Springs, making it a perfect location to enjoy the tranquil serenity of a residential neighborhood with the convenient accessibility to the downtown area. Palm Springs has plenty to explore, from its central shopping district with vintage boutiques, interior design shops, and chic restaurants to a variety of outdoor activities like golf, tennis, hiking, horseback riding, and biking. Palm Springs also has the unique location that puts you within range of day trips to places like Joshua Tree National Park, Idyllwild, and Coachella.

Minimum age for every guest is 25 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Max occupancy is 6.
