The condo was generally as advertised; modern, clean, good A/C in all rooms, the wifi is spotty. The small pool was nice to have to cool off in.
The VRBO listing did mention construction noise could be present and it was. Generally not an issue if you are out at the beach or exploring during the day, but annoying if you are wanting to spend a quiet day on the pool deck.
A few more simple amenities would have been a nice touch; proper dishcloths and perhaps some real wine glasses. There weren’t any real storage containers for leftovers.
Two comfortable loungers and two chairs on the pool deck - the chairs left a bit to be desired.
Four loungers would have been a huge benefit.
As somewhat typical in Mexico the condo building is a bit oddly designed and is in a very modest residential area. There are many dogs roaming freely and barking at all hours, although we never felt threatened by them - in fact they seemed friendly for the most part.
We felt safe in this neighborhood and locals were friendly.
The property manager and owner were both very good at responding quickly to any of our texts.
We experienced a minor earthquake during our stay and Gerson (property manager) reached out immediately to make sure we were fine.
