The house had a nice view of Scott Lake and I enjoyed my coffee in the morning watching the sunrise. The kitchen was well equipped. The living area provided abundant and comfortable seating. The deck provided a nice view of the lake with abundant seating. The bed we slept in was comfortable. It was nice having 2 bathrooms with walk in showers. From this location we visited several beach towns and Allegan as well. The host was very responsive helping us with setting the heat in the house as we visited in late September and the nights were a bit chilly. Also our dog was with us as this property is dog friendly.

Weekend at the Lake

We had a great time at the cottage. The weather was perfect and we got some much needed time away from the city. We would definitely come back to Morningside Vista again!

Had a very nice time relaxing on the deck and down by the lake. Very quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. went in town to the local pizza place and grocery store and got what we needed. Made a trip to lake Michigan, and to see the Poppies and also checked out the wineries, they were all within a 1/2 hour drive. Would definitely come back

Pullman vacation

The area of the house was serene, quiet, loved the view, however the neighborhood was disappointing. The house lacked storage, no closets in the bedrooms-however there were storage drawers in the beds. No iron/ironing board. No place to hang a coat. Bathrooms are small with places to put items a problem as well.

Barbara, We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with constructive feedback on our home. There are still a few tired, old homes located near Lower Scott Lake, but only a few! Many of the worn, older homes & cottages in our small, rural community have been demolished and replaced with new, upscale rental and year-round residences. Since this is a very small cottage, we are currently looking into different options to add storage to the bathrooms that won’t take up too much space. We have also provided underbed storage drawers as an alternative to traditional closet space or dressers. We are working on creative ways to add an iron & ironing board, as well as a coat rack, so that the home doesn’t appear too cluttered. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your stay, and we do appreciate your business.

Beautiful peaceful place

We had a wonderful time at this very quiet peaceful place. The view out the back deck is gorgeous. The weather was wonderful. We had 5 of us there. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and implements of all kinds - which all looked pretty new. Went out in the kayaks. The water was super calm and peaceful. Have only one suggestion for an improvement. My husband walks with a cane and had a very hard time going up the small front steps because there are no handrails there. It would be very inexpensive to add some sturdy handrails to he few shallow steps in front of the house. But, other than him getting in and out, which he could so with significant help, all of us, including him had a wonderful time.

The property was exactly as pictured, very clean, with beautiful view, clear water and my new happy place! Our family had the most amazing, restorative and fun time relaxing, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, playing catch, and spikeball that we brought. The back deck was thoroughly enjoyed by all for hanging out in the evenings after the sunset. My dogs had the best time ever as well, my golden retriever was like a ray of sunshine running down the hill and into the water! We will definitely be coming back to Morningvista-the home, and Scott's Lake are the most perfect, peaceful hidden gems!
