A FOODIE'S DREAM: A short walk to Trader Joe's, Fresh Market, Rollin' Oats (local, Organic) and Aldi, with a brand new Whole Foods and 2 Publix stores less than a mile away! Many of our favorite local restaurants are in the neighborhood: El Cap (Burgers), Cali (Californian), Jay Luigi (Italian), Casual Clam (Seafood/Bar), Casita Taqueria (Latin), Pineapple Espresso (coffee/breakfast), and the hippest new spot, The Violet Stone (Philly-style pizza and cheesesteaks).
RESTORE AND RELAX: Take a short, 10-minute walk to Coffee Pot Park Bayou (manatee, dolphin, and bird watching) - the starting point for North Bay Trail (6-mile paved walking/biking waterfront path that takes you straight to downtown and the St. Pete Pier), 5-minutes to Crescent Lake (22-acre lake, walking paths, tennis/pickle ball, playground), and 2 blocks away from Body Electric Yoga. A short 20-minute drive takes you to top-rated beaches: Madeira Beach, Treasure Island, and our favorite - Pass A Grille, home of the famous Don Cesar hotel and sunsets at Paradise Grill (our favorite spot at the beach!)
IDEAL FOR REMOTE WORK: Fast wi-fi with multiple workspace options - including a brightly-lit entry room with a desk and operable French doors, a sunny dining nook, and outdoor patio space with comfy furniture make this an ideal remote work location, with close proximity to a USPS post office, UPS Store, and FedEx Office for all business needs. Easy access to downtown Saint Petersburg and I-275 (15 minutes to Feather Sound) also make this an excellent choice for relocation and corporate housing.

This is a great property - awesome location on quiet street but with quick access to main roads and businesses, great neighborhood, updated with all the comforts and amenities - much better than a hotel room. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the couch comfortable, the TVs easy to operate, the internet worked great. Super quiet location. And, the owners were very easy to work with. I can't say enough great things about this rental. We will definitely be back. This is a gem.
The home was clean and as described. Quiet neighborhood. Felt safe. Spacious for two bedroom home. Good use of space. Mattresses were comfortable. TV and Internet worked great. Nicely appointed. Kitchen was well stocked. Convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Property manager was great to work with and readily available for questions. Would stay again!

About the host
Hosted by James Neff
As St. Pete residents, we truly love this city and enjoy sharing it with others. Whether it’s family visiting or guests at our bungalow, we take pride in helping people discover why this is such a world-class destination.
When we aren't hosting, you'll find us exploring Florida in our Airstream, catching sunsets at the beach, or enjoying the incredible museums downtown. Your primary host, James, is a stay-at-home dad and the creator behind the YouTube channel "dadburg," where he shares what it's like to be a dad in St. Pete!
An avid DIYer and baker, James is usually busy in the kitchen (baking 10+ loaves of sourdough a week!) or maintaining our properties to ensure every detail is just right for our guests. We live just blocks away and are always happy to share our favorite local "hidden gems" to help you feel like a local from day one.
Why they chose this property
Having lived in different parts of Florida, we chose St. Pete to call "home" because it offers the perfect blend of history, nature, and walkability. Our neighborhood captures that "Old World" feel with its historic architecture, brick-lined streets, and a front-porch culture where neighbors actually know each other. It’s a beautifully balanced area where the charm of the past meets the energy of new families who have lovingly restored these homes for a new generation.
What we enjoy most is the access to the outdoors. St. Pete has the best park system we’ve ever experienced. Within a 10-minute walk, you have the quiet beauty of Coffee Pot Bayou and the activity of Crescent Lake. Beyond our neighborhood, you're a short drive from expansive nature preserves like Boyd Hill and Weeden Island, as well as the world-class beaches of Fort De Soto.
What makes this property unique
This home offers the rare soul of a 100-year "Old Florida" bungalow, balanced with the luxury of modern infrastructure. While you'll find original wood floors and brick-lined streets, we have meticulously updated the "bones" with a new AC, new roof, upgraded electrical, and tankless hot water for a worry-free stay.
Our neighborhood is a true St. Pete gem—quiet and tree-lined, yet walkable to almost everything. We actually owned this home years ago and regretted selling it so much that we jumped at the chance to buy it back when it hit the market again. That is how much we love this property, and we’ve poured that same care into making it the perfect retreat for our guests.
