Well taken care of home that is centrally located for many activities in the Wilmington area. Easy access to both the historical areas of town and the beaches.
My family stayed here for a long weekend visit. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Sarah was communicative and offered us a later check-out due to no one checking in the day we left. We would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed are time there. Everything was very nice .the rooms were wonderful and beds were very conformable there were 4 of us . We loved the rocking chairs on the porch . Would stay here again .
The house was amazing! The glhost supplied top shelf toiletries and was very thoughtful with items included such as laundry soap, qtips, makeup wipes, etc. Everything was above par.
This house was very refreshing! It reminded me of growing up, sitting on the front porch and enjoying family! The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was A+!
My daughter and I were very happy with this house. Older home with charm and clean. We cooked all of our meals for the weekend that we stayed, kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoy a warm afternoon on the front porch watching the world go by. We hope to visit again.
What a fantastic home! Sarah has done a beautiful job creating a warm and welcoming environment with beautiful new decor, upscale appliances and all the amenities needed for a great stay! And the beds are super-comfortable! We especially liked hanging out on the rocking chairs on the front porch watching a summer rainstorm blow by.On the few occassions we had questions, Sarah was extremely prompt in replying and addressed our needs completely. This home is a winner!
We (4 adults) had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at “The Port House”. We had everything we needed for our stay. All amenities were clean and up to date. The entry lock/code was very easy and simple to use. Neighborhood was quiet. The owner was always helpful and available for any questions.
We would definitely recommend this house and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Port House. The house is very clean and comfortable and has everything we could need. The décor is wonderful. It is very close to the airport, a short driving distance to the River Walk in Wilmington, and about 15-20 minutes to Wrightsville Beach. There are many things to do in the area and we also spent some time just relaxing in the house.
The check-in, wi-fi access and television were very easy; we were a little worried about that; this is the first time we have done this and we are not as savvy as many.
I highly recommend staying at the Port House.
This home is exactly as it is described! It is in a great location that is convenient to everything. Within walking distance to coffee shops and cafes and just a short drive to the Riverfront or Wrightsville Beach. The home had everything we needed for our family of four. The front porch was by far one of our favorite features! We sat and rocked each morning and every evening while our 5 year old played in the yard. The host was very communicative and quickly answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend this home for anyone who wants to experience all that Wilmington has to offer! We can’t wait to come back again soon!
This property was perfect for us 3 ladies (70+). The size of the house was great, the minimum number of steps to go up to the porches just right. The renovations for this older home was very well done, and the decor and furniture, just the right amount. It was very clean. All our needs were taken care of. I wanted to stay longer. Bedding was great. The street block was right there where Hwy 17 comes in leaving me with some concern with traffic, but traffic was minimal, a few cars going by with loud music.
