Live the Lake Life - Paddle, Play, Relax: The perfect Lakefront Getaway!

A true, cozy, lake house experience. Our home offers stunning views from every room of the house. The location and amenities of this home provide the perfect place to relax, unwind, and make precious memories. The scenic views and calm water are perfect for swimming, boating or just hanging out on the boat dock. The home is 3,600 sf, 3 acres, light boat traffic area, sunset views, screened porch, 5 BR/4.5 BA - 3 queen beds, 1 king, 6 twin, and a pull-out couch.
The space
The property is tucked away from any busyness, on 3 acres, with 300ft of water front, with plenty of privacy and serenity. It is a beautiful walk on river rock down to the boat dock (no long, steep, staircase). We are off the main channel of the lake (big water), where there is much less traffic, waves, and noise. There is a national forest across from us and so, instead of seeing boat dock after boat dock, your view is lake, woods, and the sunset every evening. The feel and look of our home is designed & decorated to be a true lake house experience. Our home is beautiful, private, serene, absolute heaven. Thank you for your interest.
Guest access
The boat dock has one slip that is open for guests to use for their own boat. There are two jet ski pads, however they are occupied with owner’s wave runners. The boat dock does have cleats to tie up other watercraft if you need.

The house was beautiful and in a beautiful setting. The kitchen and bedrooms were very well appointed and had everything we needed. Large house that easily accommodated 12 people. We spent lots of time just sitting and swimming off the dock which was great. The host was amazing and helpful. Great stay!

Amazing and Perfect Getaway!

It was exactly as described but even better! Beautifully decorated, private, spacious home nestled on a brow overlooking the lake, just steps away from a large dock on a clear lake where swimming, sunning and fishing were enjoyed by all. Even in July, cool breezes were felt on the large screened porch, due to the shaded wooded area surrounding it. And its location off the main lake provided quite mornings, nights and evenings. The well stocked kitchen, commercial refrigerator, separate ice machine,Traeger grill, ample parking just added to the perfection we experienced. The layout of the house was perfect for late sleepers and early risers, four totally separate sleeping areas. We have rented many vacation homes but never have I had a host as responsive as Jim. I had never rented on Smith Lake so I had many questions but each one was answered promptly and thoroughly. We definitely plan on returning and I am telling all my friends about this special getaway. Note: We rented a pontoon boat from Squirrels Boat Rentals just a few miles from the house via water and was very pleased with his service.

Our area of the lake has less traffic (less waves, noise, people), our view across the lake is National Forest vs. boat docks, rock jump just around the corner, and our view every night is the sunset off our boat dock.
