Hi Robin, Thank you so much for your kind 5 star review! We are sohappy that you and your friends enjoyed a wonderful stay and awesome time at the fall Coachella music festival! Just a quick clarification~ the HOA is strict about parking/guest lists mostly during the Coachella/Stagecoach music Festivals, as are most all of the gated communities that are close to (half mile-mile walk) the Polo Grounds. Typically there is no street parking allowed in any neighborhood close to the festivals during those couple of weekends but that is not typically the case 95% of the year ! We also typically have 5 driveway spots for parking with 2 in the paver driveway closest to the Mega LUXE Casita for smaller vehicles (not oversized vehicles or Sprinter vans. For longer bookings of a month or so we can sometimes accommodate garage space as well as we did when our property was reserved for Serena Williams for the BNP Tennis Tournament. For most weekends/stays guest list changes are fine up until the very last minute even day of arrival, however typically during festivals the HOA’s hire outside security companies to mann our gated community entrance gates…. That only happens for those couple of music festivals and they have decided to do away with additional security now, as we received notice recently from the HOA as it was a city regulation that was passed down to the HOAs for communities that were a short walk to the venue. Typically, also it was also for overnight parking, not during the day… We are very pleased you guys had a wonderful time at Tranquility LUXE Estate! Unfortunately and sadly this review is completely inaccurate, and many of the comments are factually incorrect. The property, pool and spa as noted in all of our other reviews is meticulously maintained, beautifully kept up and is a 5 star “Resort Property”. The owner provided travelers with a gift basket of fine wines, coffees, teas, waters upon arrival. Throughout the stay, the guests could not stop raving via texts on how truly amazing the property. Unfortunately, the items that the traveler commented on are something that could have been avoided if traveler had provided a schedule in advance of times for the hot tub to be automated on and off. (new wireless system -pool itself is less than two years old. Traveler did NOT request (or pay for) the pool to be heated prior to arrival - he specifically requested that the pool not be heated as the outdoor temperatures were over 105 degrees. He purchased “hot tub only” package, and the hot tub was on the entire stay, never once did traveler indicate it was “not hot”. Comments about deposit are false as his ENTIRE damage deposit was refunded in full except for two broken items (a microwave and umbrella) that were found broken at check-out. The refund check was mailed to the traveler’s business which he couldn’t find, and subsequently another refund check was mailed to a different address which he provided when he notified us that he hadn’t received the initial refund check. The deposit was refunded in FULL except for the cleaning fee which wasn’t paid for at time of booking, and the only other deduction was for overages for hot tub heating which hadn’t been pre-paid for., What was not stated is that the traveler wasn’t charged for additional unapproved overnight guests or the many hours the owner assisted him personally as he knowingly parked in a No Parking Area which was clearly posted with signs and his vehicle was towed by security due to his own negligence in failing to parking on the Estate’s grounds or driveways. The traveler chose not to pay to rent out the separate guesthouse and it was used by the owner however it is completely separate from the Main House and other guesthouse. As far as comments“dirt being blown by landscapers”that is untrue as gardener’s maintain the estate each Tuesday. This rental was on a weekend. Lastly, the guest chose to pay by wire, and could have paid by check, money order or or electronic deposit by choice. This iis NOT a typical review by our guests.
