This cabin is so lovely! The beds are comfortable, the layout and outdoor spaces are great, and the location is near enough to Dollywood and Gatlinburg but I'm a quieter part of the area. Much of the kitchen equipment needs to be replaced and the kitchen could have been cleaner, but overall, it was a great stay.

This cabin provided us with exactly what we needed… peace and tranquility! The pictures are accurate to what the cabin actually looks like. The roads to get there were a little scary (curvy, narrow mountain roads) but the scenery was breathtaking!! We have already discussed coming back to the “Zen” cabin!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin in Townsend, TN! It’s perfectly tucked away—peaceful and quiet—yet only about 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so it felt like the best of both worlds.The cabin itself was incredibly spacious and so well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and piece of cookware we could possibly need. We ended up cooking breakfast every morning and most dinners after a long day of exploring, and it felt just like being at home (maybe even better!).One of our favorite features was the screened-in fire pit. With the crisp chill in the mountain air, it was the perfect spot to sit, relax, and warm up at the end of the day. And I cannot forget the hot tub/swim spa—after walking around Dollywood for hours, soaking in it was an absolute lifesaver. Our muscles thanked us!Overall, this cabin was everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable getaway. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat close to all the major attractions!

Lovely cabin! Beautiful inside and out. The cabin comes with a lot of tech upgrades I didn’t expect like hidden LED lighting, remote controlled blinds, and speakers throughout the cabin that link to your phone through Bluetooth. Overall, we loved our stay and the cabin was perfect.

The listing is exactly as it states a peaceful zen retreat. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place was open and light and the floor to ceiling doors that open up were amazing. It was beautiful and peaceful. The swim spa was much needed after a 5 mile hike at Cades Cove. The place was very clean and Loni answered any questions I had before my stay, during, and followed up after. Excellent communication and had zero problems. I just wish we could have extended a day but it was already booked. My family and I would absolutely book this again. The baby bear visits were a highlight of our stay. He scared away easily so there was no worry. One of the best VRBO places we have had the pleasure to stay at.

Fabulous stay

Stayed at Windsong Retreat for a fly fishing trip with family. Property was clean, amenities wonderful. Comfortable stay, we will be back!

Incredible

My boyfriend and I went and stayed at Windsong for 3 days. Although it was early February the trees, cabin and peace were incredible. The owner checked in with us, recommended places to eat and shop. We had a great stay!! If I could I would buy it and live there :)

Vacation to see The Smoky Mountains

Wonderful, Wonderful. Loni was beyond helpful, responsive and kind. The home is so beautiful and peaceful. So nice to relax and enjoy the spa pool after a day of hiking. We will definitely be back.

Zen Cabin

My husband and 2 kids (12 & 15) enjoyed this peaceful, relaxing, amazing cabin! Tucked away, secluded, quiet, with treetop views, a swim spa, spacious deck, zen garden, and plenty of room to spread out. The 4 of us had fun! The cabin had everything! We would’ve stayed longer if we could!

Favorite Cabin Yet.

This cabin has been our favorite yet. So many things for every one of all ages to do, that you don’t even need to leave. It’s very clean, and well maintained. We loved everything about it except the mattresses needed updated that no one slept good all weekend, but the cabin made up for the beds. The host was so easy to work with, and was always so friendly. We are already planning our next vacation here!

Birthday Celebration

This place was great. Peaceful and quiet, lots of trees. Close enough to Cades Cove, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to get too quickly, do what you need to do and then retreat to your private place. Windows & sliding doors were wonderful. Kitchen was great. Swimming tub was a plus. Mama bear and two cubs greeted us when we arrived and showed up for breakfast (on the deck) the next day. Pretty chipmunk with white tail nesting in the Zen Garden. My only complaint were the beds, not senior friendly. Two low on the ground and mattress to soft. Certainly, a great place to stay. There were seven of us and we had plenty of room.

Absolute bliss

Our family absolutely loved everything about our stay. It is an absolutely beautiful space with a perfect layout and plenty of space indoors and outdoors for relaxing and enjoying your time. We were close to all the things we wanted to do but this location was private with all of the trees and landscaping. Our last evening we saw a mama bear and her cub twice while we were enjoying the fabulous hot tub. Memories were definitely made on this trip. Bluetooth speakers in almost every space and smart tvs in rooms made my older children very happy. I loved the decor and lighting. They really made this feel like a home with everything you would ever need! We hiked, went whitewater rafting, and rode horses. It was amazing to come back to a tranquil place that felt like a retreat. Communication was easy and the hosts were super helpful. I did not want to leave. Thank you so much for a lovely week in the Smokies that we will never forget.

Slightly Disappointed

Home could of been cleaner. Beds could have been bigger or at least one king somewhere. Never really felt the privacy you get from the photos because of outdoor cameras and the shades covering the bedrooms did not provide privacy as you could see thru them at night. The guest bathroom was not very comfortable or functional and felt like they were more concerned with achieving a look over functionality. There must be a lot of minerals or calcium in the water because any standing water would leave a white residue on shower walls, floors and eating utensils. It would be nice too if they would allow a tenant more time to inspect the place upon arrival as 2 hours upon arriving is just not enough especially after being on the road for so many hours and it gets darker sooner in the mountains making it even harder or more stressful to comply with their inspection period. Loni was pleasant to deal with but I will try another property next year as this property just didn't make me want to come back.

We had a fantastic and relaxing weekend with old friends! The location is just far enough from downtown Pigeon Forge to give you peace and quiet, while still being only a quick and easy drive into town. For us, that balance was perfect.The kitchen was impressively well stocked, making it simple to enjoy meals together. The swim spa was a highlight — such a great way to unwind — and the sound system added a wonderful touch, creating a great atmosphere throughout our stay.This home truly offered everything we needed for a comfortable, enjoyable getaway. We’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat close to all the attractions!

Check in was seamless. Loni kept us informed before we arrived and made check in so easy. The kitchen was everything that was stated on the website. We cooked dinner one night and breakfast every morning. We had everything we needed . The house and property is so well thought out. So many small upgrades. We played music through the bluetooth sound system. The emails walked us right through how to use everything! The spa was out of this world. We had the pleasure to soak every evening. After retiring from the spa we ended every evening with a fire on the back porch. The entire trip was ao relaxing. We could relax because the cabin was so clean, had everything we needed plus a-lot more. We will be staying there again in the future!

The location is perfect if you are wanting to be out of the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge/Gaitlinburg. The space suited our family/party of 6 perfectly. The swim spa was beautiful! We had some bears and some cubs up close on the porch and it was really neat to see!

Perfect Property

This property was just what we were looking for in a vacation rental. Plenty of space and seclusion. The host, Loni was great. She communicated well by answering questions. She also recommended some personal favorites we should try. We would definitely stay here again.
