Newly Remodeled With New Mattresses, Walk-in Showers & Spacious Living Area

This is a newly and completely renovated spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment, 5 minutes walking distance to Marriott Resort Convention Center, which sleeps 4 people comfortably, with a king size bed in the master room, 2 new twin beds with in the guest room, all new mattresses and new & comfortable bedding. All rooms have flat screen TVs and wireless Internet access.

The master and guest bathroom have been completely remodeled, with new rain shower and flat river rock in spacious walking shower.

The kitchen, also completely remodeled, has all new appliances, including refrigerator, stove top, dishwasher, microwave, and new cabinets, besides basic kitchen supplies.

The apartment has a lot of natural light and beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico from the dining and living room. All the furniture is brand new, very comfortable, and plenty of space for 6 people for dining for our expandable dinning room table.

The apartment is part of a great complex, with large heated pool, tennis court, BBQ area, and right across street from the beach access.

About Amelia Longo

We live a couple hours away from Marco Island, and we have purchased this property as a second home, to enjoy from time to time with the family, but saw a great opportunity to extend our home to guests and make it into a little investment property.

As a family that has stayed in many different vacation homes for the past 15 years, we felt we needed to bring to market a home that we would not only be able to enjoy ourselves, but offer our guests a pleasant and memorable experience.

We have a very active family with my husband working for a technology company, our 2 kids that go to school full time and with extra curriculum activities, and as our youngest is getting older, I decided to go back to work and among some of the projects I am managing today, I will be your main point of contact and management of this property.

Different than you may see in other rentals, this unit is newly remodeled, new appliances, furniture, has no carpet, and has a lot of natural light, but with black-out curtains in the bedrooms.

Great location, great spot for two couples

We rented this location for the weekend while attending a wedding at the JW Marriott, we couldn't have asked for a better location. Beach access directly across the street and diagonal from the JW. The unit was perfectly clean when we arrived, equipped with Nest for AC and ceiling fans to keep the space comfortable. The kitchen was perfect to make a couple of small meals, breakfast, snacks etc (toaster oven but no full oven FYI) with that said the only negative would be that the kitchen was not equipped with any cleaning supplies (dishwashing detergent, spray etc). Similarly, there was not any soap in the bathrooms either, but we were able to purchase these small things at the grocery store down the street. There were plenty of linens, towles and blankets as well as beach towels, beach chairs and a few beach accessories which we were grateful to have access to. The beds were comfortable, the location and view were amazing and we would definitly recommend this rental to anyone looking to enjoy Marco Island.

GREAT location with beach access!!!

This is a beautiful condo unit located across the street from the beach with beach access right across from the building. The unit is spacious with updated kitchen and baths. The king-sized bed was comfortable and the twin beds were wonderful for guests or younger children. The pool was warm and the other guests were friendly and offered advice of places to explore on the island. This unit offered a beach cart, chairs, coolers, and even sand toys for kids. We just loaded our cart up for the day and headed to the beach. The views from the balcony were awesome and the location enabled us to walk to many shops and restaurants. Overall, we would recommend this rental unit because of it's fantastic location.

Great place

Great place, easy walk to beach. Pool was well maintained. Before I get into the few problems we had, I want to be clear we would definitely stay here again, we’d just bring laundry soap and dishwasher detergent since we are a bit obsessive.

We had problems with ants in the kitchen. Nothing could be left on the counter, not even medicine. We just stored everything in fridge or freezer. Hopefully owner will address the ant problem.

One twin bed clearly had dirty sheets, which just makes one start questioning the cleanliness of the other linens. The duvet of the king was a clean one over a visibly dirty one. Not having pillows and mattresses in dustmite/bedbug proof cases was a little sketchy for me with Florida warmth and humidity being prime environments for such things. Not having additional garbage bags was annoying, but we just bought our own. No dishwasher detergent either, so for longer stays bring your own. Not having laundry detergent with the washer and dryer made me wonder if the linens are washed with detergent. They certainly didn’t appear or smell clean and fresh which is concerning.

We enjoyed our stay. The overall cleanliness of the condo was good, just those few issues.

Owner's Response: Hi Liz, thanks for bringing these issues to my attention. I have been in contact with the building management in regards to the ants. They have been fumigating more frequently to get this under control, looks like something more intense is required. In regards to the dirty linens, that for me, is completely unexpectable and is something that I clearly need to bring to the attention of the cleaning company. My husband and I do a lot of traveling and cleanliness is one of our top issues when looking for rentals.. As far as cleaning supplies, we do leave a “starter kit” of supplies meaning, one toilet paper roll in each bathroom, one paper towel roll, and one bar of hand soap in each bathroom. If that was not supplied please let me know. As far as cleaning products and detergent, that is the responsibility of the renter. We are a vacation rental and are not required to supplies those things. We also offer a washer and dryer in unit as a convenience to our renters. All of the linens are cleaned off site,... I hope I’ve addressed your concerns and hope that you return to our unit and see that your concerns have been cleared up :)
