Overall, this was a wonderful house to make home base during our stay. Plenty of room, beautiful views, and close to beach access. One of my favorite parts of the house is the screened in sunroom to enjoy thunderstorms storms outside without getting wet. We also very much enjoyed the oversized master bathroom, and back entrances after spraying sand off. Outdoor shower was nice too! If I were picky- the stove takes a while to get hot, but it still works to cook from, and the freezer never really ever froze out popsicles never quite froze all the way, but stillfroze ice cubes fine! I’d absolutely stay here again!

Another great visit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year staying in Bali Hai and it met all of our expectations, again. We had one maintenance issue and it was fixed within about 24 hours (probably would have been sooner, but it was a holiday when the issue was discovered). The rooms are spacious, the property has always been very clean - the mattresses are THE best I've ever had at a rental property!
Response from VrboOwner on Dec 6, 2023
Pam, Wow, three years at Bali Hai? You're practically a Bali veteran now! Fixing that maintenance issue was like our version of a holiday workout – quick and efficient! We're glad the mattresses rocked your world; we believe in sweet dreams and firm support. Looking forward to hosting you for year four – See you on the Beach.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to OBX for six yrs or so and have never stayed in the same house twice - we've already booked for next year, making it the third time in a row we'll stay here. This house is well maintained, very room, plenty of beds, gorgeous views - catch the sunrise from the front decks or a sunset from the rear decks. The kitchen is well equipped, beach chairs, a beach cart, corn hole, a grille - you name it and this house has it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beach place is wonderful. The customer service of Beach Realty not so much. I was unable to renew the same week for next year so I picked the following week. I waited the allotted time and was issued a contract only to have it cancelled due to realtor error. They have done nothing to resolve their error.

Bali Hai review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has stayed many years at this rental. For the most part it always has been well maintained. This year, I noticed a few things that could be improved. The deck furniture in the front is worn out and could be replaced. The kitchen is like most rentals; did not have a colander and as with most rentals, no quality frying pan available and we did have to make a run to the dollar store for a colander. Overall, it is a great house though, beautiful views, ample space for family entertaining, and clean. Already have reserved again for next year!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was beautiful and very spacious. Great location and great view of the ocean. Rented the house because the the back yard with volleyball court , horseshoe pit and fire pit. Was disappointed when we got there the grass was grown up around all of it. We have children so could take them out to enjoy the backyard. They came on Friday and cut some grass but we left on Saturday so we was very disappointed. House still had crumps on counters so not sure how well it was cleaned. But over all the house was beautiful and the owner had lots of extras for your use .
Response from VrboOwner on Oct 27, 2024
Lara, Thanks for the glowing review! We're thrilled you loved the house and its stunning views. We apologize for the grass situation and will get that sorted out. We'll also remind our cleaning team to bring their A-game. Hope to see you back for some fun in that backyard
