Hale Kamaole 107 is a large comfortable beautiful ground floor unit in the lower part of the complex. It is just steps away from the pool,office and BBQ area . The ocean is 200 steps away.

We have just completed a kitchen remodel and other upgrades in our condo. 107 is a NO SMOKING UNIT, THIS INCLUDES THE LANAI. Hale Kamaole is now a RESTRICTED SMOKING COMPLEX, YOU MUST GO TO A SMOKING AREA TO SMOKE. SMOKING is not allowed in the condos or on the lanais. . Please check with the office for locations. Thank you.

Beautiful Kamaole 3 Beach Park voted 'Best Place To Watch The Sunset' is just across the street. Each evening the 'Hale Kamaole Conch Band' blow their shells as the sun disappears over the horizon. The islands of Molokini, Kaho'olawe and Lanai are in full view to the west. The resort has two swimming pools, two 4 station charcoal BBQ areas,a tennis court and a large grassy area for the kids to play on. The grounds are well landscaped and well maintained.Your time here will be fun and very relaxing.

H.K. 107 is close to everything, stores and shops, restaurants, beaches ect, but very Quiet. Our unit is upgraded consistently. The well equipped remodeled kitchen has upgraded cabinets, granite countertops with ceramic tile backsplash, full size range, refrigerator, dishwasher and various small appliances. The bedroom has a king size bed, a six drawer dresser and two bedside tables. We also have a 32' television for late night viewing.The comfortable living room includes a sofa that folds out to a queen bed and two recliner chairs to view the 42' flat sreen TV. There is also a DVD/VCR player along with a stereo/CD player. The internet connection by the TV is Broadband High speed and is absolutely FREE. We also have a wireless modem.The full size stacked washer and dryer is in a closet by the bath for all your laundry needs. The lanai has a full size dining table with four chairs for outside dining and relaxing. Just a couple of steps off the lanai is a spectacular view of the ocean in one direction and upcountry and Haleakala the other way. The lanai closet contains beach mats, beach chairs, sun umbrellas, boogie boards, an ice chest and various sand toys for the kids at the beach. 107 is kept very cool by letting the breeze flow thru the bedroom and front door screen out to the lanai. Shops, stores, restaurants and other vacation services are within walking distance just down Kihei Rd. The Kihei small boat ramp where a lot of ocean activities begin, is about a quarter mile down Kihei Rd the other direction. World class Wailea Resort with upscale shopping, restaurants, tennis and three golf courses is about a five minute drive. There are also 2 other golf courses within a 10 minute drive.

With the weather usually sunny and in the 80s, close proximity to beaches and exceptional accommodations, Hale Kamaole 107 is definitely the place to spend your vacation.

About George Stehlik

We live in Bishop, California. We first came to Maui on ur honeymoon in 1972 and fell in love with Maui. We bought our 1st property in 1975 and later moved to Maui. We moved back to the mainland in 1980 and raised our family. Our boys are now grown and gone so we come to Maui as often as possible to enjoy the island lifestyle and weather.

Why George Stehlik chose Kihei

In 1982 we stayed at Hale Kamaole and we liked it because of the location, size of the units and the friendliness of the staff. We decided that we would buy there when we sold our house on Maui. We had lived on the east side of Maui for over two years and were well acquainted with all of the resort areas on the island. Kihei still has a small town atmosphere but has everything you need for a great vacation.

What makes this condo unique

Hale Kamaole is a low rise (2 and 3 story), low density complex with lots of ammenities just across a two lane road. The weather is sunny most of the time, the trade winds keep the tempature and humidity down and on the ground floor location keeps 107 cool without having to use the a.c. 107 is about 35 steps to the pool and 200 steps to the beach and Kamaole III Beach Park.

Last November my husband and I stayed in Hale Kamaole 107. We found the location fantastic, the open grounds very relaxing and close to stores and shops and restaurants. Just across the street from the ocean and a very nice beach and park. We loved the water and all the turtles that swam by. The condo is vey well furnished and had everything we needed including the beach equipment we used. We can't wait to back and stay there again.

We have retained Hale Kamaole Hopme Owners Rentals to be our on island managers. They take care of our condo along with others in the complex. If an emergency in the condo arises, they are the people to contact. They operate the check in office and are on the premises every day. Our Hawaii tax identification number is 125-249-3312-01

Perfect spot in Kihei

George's condo was exactly what my wife and I were looking for in Kihei. It was clean, spacious, quiet, comfy bed, A/C was a life saver, great location, and walking distance to really anything you'd need for a vacation in Maui; restaurants, coffee, the beach, etc. While the back patio doesn't face the ocean (it's viewable literally right around the corner) and of course there's so much to do in Maui we really didn't spend much time sitting around the condo anyhow. We stayed for a full week and would have liked to stay longer if we could. Definitely recommended to anyone else thinking about heading to Kihei.

Ok for family

I wish I would’ve paid attention to the one negative review I read before booking it. Because I was debating between this place and another one, which was in a resort. I am sure it would be a nicer stay. Since the furniture is older there’s a lot of dust, especially in the bedroom. There’s not one good knife in the kitchen (it was a pain to cut the onion). There’s not a lot of privacy, since you are on the first floor and the windows go out to the office on one side and to the walking path on the other. What was the most disappointing - is that the towels that were hanged for our use were not even washed after previous guests (disgusting make up stains on the towels) - they washed out after I threw them in the washer. The washer wasn’t even wiped - lots of sand. Oh, the beach chairs are filthy and rusty. For snorkeling they only have the fins. The body boards don’t have strings on them.

My final recommendation- maybe it would be a good stay for a family- for economical reasons. But if you are looking for a couple getaway - I would probably pay an extra $10 a night and stay in a nicer place. Definitely not the place for a romantic getaway. I only decided to go here because of so many good reviews I read. The only thing I liked- was a location- walking distance to the beach. It’s located at the end of Kamaole III. (But the other place was a beachfront property too)

A real slice of paradise

This was our first time to Maui for our family of 5. We could not say enough about the perfect location George's condo at the Hale Kamaole was for us. Steps away from the !pool, ocean, green space , our kids were in heaven! The unit had everything we needed to make our stay so easy. We would recommend over and over again, and definitely will be back!

very good stay in maui

We had a very good stay in this condo. It was clean and all equipment that we needed was available. Even the radio played good tunes! We also use the beach gear, such as snorkels, umbrella, coolers, bodyboard and chairs. The pool and BBQ-area are shared with the other condo's, but that was not a problem at all. From the garden we had a great view on the volcano (when it finally stopped raining, guess we were lucky to catch 2 days of tropical rain).

Such a Blast

We definitely had a terrific time in Maui, and the condo was certainly up to our expectations. We did use some of the beach equipment, the condo was very clean, registration was simple, and we would certainly recommend it friends and family. We would certainly like to stay there again on our next visit, and loved the close proximity to the beach and fun town of Kihei.

Great location but...

We checked in and were appalled to find bugs all over the kitchen and the unit was filthy. We spent the first day in the unit cleaning and washing every piece of laundry and dish in the unit as it was disgusting! The unit was nicely updated and in a great location but the cleaning staff definitely messed up on this one. This was the 3rd unit we have stayed in at Hale Kamaole over the years and were shocked at the condition of this unit. I know there are bugs in Maui but this was ridiculous and odd that the neighbours had no bugs on either side.

I know things happens and not everything will be perfect but when you are paying good money you expect to have a clean place to sleep and enjoy your vacation. It was so bad we considered packing up and leaving as we were extremely uncomfortable.

George was very responsive when booking and even let us check in a but early as we needed to get out of our other unit. However, once we let him know about the cleanliness and the issues with the cleaning staff he said he would get in touch with the Property manager and come up with a solution and we never heard back….

Owner's Response: I'm very sorry Lindsay H. had a bad experience at our condo. We have owned and rented our condo for 31 years and this is the first time anyone has not enjoyed our condo. We have had Hale Kamaole Co-op as on island managers for the entire time. Here is our managers response to her review. As manager of the Hale Kamaole Co-op, I manage 80 units, our staff is very professional and very attentive to all of our guests needs. When George alerted me of his unhappy guests, my housekeeper supervisor and I responded immediately. The situation was hostile, all the towels and bed sheets were thrown on the floor and dishes were everywhere. Prior to their arrival, George's unit had just been through a deep cleaning was rent ready to industry standards. We offered to re-clean the unit and provided a brand new set of king sheets to the guests as well as a $20.00 gift card to the local supermarket. The thing that still comes to my mind is that Lindsay's husband Scott who arrived early to preview the unit stated how nice it was. Scott apologized to me later that week. Management definitely responded immediately. George's unit has a 4 1/2 star rating and is a very nicely updated unit with a great location. As far as the "bugs" go, we only know that the previous renters who departed on April 13, five days before the Lindsay's arrival never mentioned any problems. As a precaution we did have the pest control company do a complete debugging after the Lindsay vacated the condo as it needed to be vacant when doing so. We have had five renters since then and they posted very positive reviews. George S.

Kihei small boat launch ramp is 1/4 mile away. Lots of tourist ocean excursions start there. You can walk along the ocean for several miles in either direction fron our condo. The path starts just across Kihei Rd and you can walk south all the way to the Kea Lani Hotel. If you go north you can go all the way to Maalea.

Value Season Only- Stay 10 nights or longer for a discounted rate of $120.00 per night. For stays less then 5 nights $140.00 a night plus a one time service fee of $195.00. From Dec. 18 to Jan. 5 the minimum stay is 14 nights
