Ask a questionAbout Ann Kerouac
My husband and I have lived in New England for most of our lives. We did most of our growing up in Maine and currently live in Central Massachusetts - on the 'mainland.'
Ann Kerouac purchased this House in 2012
Why Ann Kerouac chose Madaket
We first visited Nantucket in 2011 and fell in love with the island - we actually went house-hunting during that first visit! In August, 2012 we visited again and decided we definitely should buy a home on the island. We purchased our Madaket home in October, 2012. Since we aren't able to live there year 'round, we decided to share our home with others who want a comfortable place to stay.
What makes this House unique
What we liked best about our home is that it felt as though we were 'tucked away' from the hustle and bustle. We also loved the feeling we had when we first opened the front door. The home was so inviting! While it had great bones, it needed some love. Over the winter of 2012/2013, we renovated the property, inside and out! Each off-season we continue to do more work on our island home. :) We survey all our guests and take their opinions to heart.
