We loved the cottage and location. Would be perfect to have a few more dishes and utensils. It was too cold outside to use the hot tub and sauna is very small. It was very cold inside upon arrival but the heater works great. Comfortable bed. Overall very happy with our stay.

This unit was the perfect getaway for two people. It was close to Traverse City, but we loved our time out of town on the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

The listing should say glamping. The outside pictures are clearly AI. There is zero grass, just lots of ticks, acorns and sand. The floors were gritty feeling as though they'd not been cleaned. The shower was clean but the bathroom sink wouldn't drain properly. There's what appeared to be an abandoned motor home right next to the cabin. We were left 2 flimsy bath towels and washcloths no broom to even be able to sweep up the sand. The floorboards on the deck leading to the unit are loose and felt like they could give out. The window tracks had lots of bugs and dirt and the windows themself were dirty. The worst part was it was extremely damp in the unit to the point there was condensation on the inside on the windows. The "hot tub" water was a yellowish green and full of sand and the water was like warm at best with no visible way to turn up the heat. The only redeeming factor was them letting us have a late checkout which they were asking 45 for until I told them I knew they didn't have anyone coming in behind us because they offered it for additional nights. The listing was definitely overpriced!

Great cabin for a weekend around Traverse City

Nice secluded cabin that is not too far from Traverse City or the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Seems recently renovated, furnished with everything needed for a weekend stay.

We had a wonderful time at the property with our dogs. We rented the larger pontoon boat for the day and enjoyed the 5 lakes. It was beautiful.

Cute Arbutus Lake Cottage

Really enjoyed the pontoon we rented. Spent the whole day on the lake. Very close to the wineries and other Traverse City attractions.

Great cozy lakeside stay

Property was very clean and cozy. Perfect if you want a very upgraded nature/camping feel in a quaint, modern 2 person cabin. Nestled in an extended cul-de-sac by a little lake. Very peaceful.

Clean cabin with lake view and beach access

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean and had a lake view from 2 windows and the patio. A/C cooled the entire cabin. Everyone was friendly.

My husband and I plus our dog stayed here for our minimoon and we had the best time! It was perfect for us 3 and it had a great view of the water and it was such a short little walk to sit near the water on a deck. It was so peaceful and our dog loved the location too! Would highly recommend :)!

Arbutus cabin

Lovely spot. Enjoyed kayaking, visiting family and the beaches of Grand Traverse Bay. Cabin clean, comfy, and cozy. Nice little kitchen. My only complaint was there is no place to hang a coat, open a suitcase, or put toiletries.

Beautiful and peaceful

This was a really cute place to stay for the weekend. Traverse City was close by but we ate local one of the days. I would say it was like a hotel room on the lake. The only reason for the 4 stars...the online listing was because it said it slept 50 and that the check in/out time was different then what it said.

Newly Remodeled & Nice Location

These units are nicely remodeled. The one we stayed in was smaller, but not too bad for just 2 of us. We rented a Pontoon for the day, felt the price was a bit high but we wanted to enjoy the lake so it was worth it. Unit was clean and well appointed. Thank you.

Cute little cabin

We came up to Traverse City for winetasting and golf. This cute little cabin had everything we needed to relax at night and was only about 20-30 minutes from downtown. We walked over to the shared dock and enjoyed the lake every day. Other cabins in the area were under construction while we were there, but I like what the owners are doing with the place. The remodels look really nice and up-to-date. We had a small incident and owner was responsive and easy to work with.

Weekend Getaway

My husband, our two dogs, and I stayed here during our weekend trip to Traverse City. This house is ~20 minutes from downtown TC, and the drive is super easy. The house is clean and accurately described. There are RV spots and other homes directly around this house, so it is very much a lake community vibe. It was very quiet all weekend and had no concerns with the people surrounding us. Perfect amount of space for 2 people and their pets.
