Hot Tub Escape - Peaceful Lake Cabin-Kayaks, Canoe, Pedalboat - Pet friendly
Welcome to our charming little 1950s lakeside cabin, where modern comforts meet vintage charm. Perfect for both relaxation and adventure, this classic little Northern Michigan cabin is ready to host your unforgettable getaway!
Step back in time to a simpler kind of vacation at our authentic 1950s lakeside cabin, part of the original High Lake Resort community. These classic Northern Michigan cabins were once beloved summer escapes for families seeking fresh air, quiet mornings, and long days on the water — and today, they still offer that same peaceful charm.
Thoughtfully updated with modern comforts but true to their original footprint, this 530 sq ft two‑bedroom cabin is perfect for couples, small families, and anyone who appreciates cozy spaces, vintage character, and the feeling of being tucked away in nature.
What Makes This Cabin Special
- True 1950s resort history — one of the original High Lake Resort cabins
- Lake access just steps away to a beach that is shared with one other cabin on the property
- Private hot tub with a peek‑a‑boo lake view through the trees
- Kayaks, pedal boat & canoe included (no rental fees)
- Peaceful wooded setting with hammocks, wildlife, and starry nights (we do still have neighbors, of course)
- Close to Traverse City but feels worlds away
These cabins are grandfathered under special zoning, which allows us to continue sharing them while preserving their original size and charm — a rare piece of Northern Michigan history that we are honored to share with those that will appreciate this little piece of Americana.
Inside the Cabin
- Main Bedroom: Full‑size bed with soft linens
- Second Bedroom: Twin‑over‑twin bunk bed — perfect for kids or the young at heart
