Casa frente al mar, ¡El NUEVO G-5 completamente remodelado en la primavera de 2019!

Situado en la sección de Ocean Grove de Reach prestigioso de Beacon, nuestro 2000 sq. Ft. Adosado frente a la playa está a sólo 50 pasos de la playa y 80 pasos de la piscina (sí contamos!). Tiene capacidad para 6 personas cómodamente con cada uno de los tres dormitorios en un nivel separado con su propio balcón y baño.

La sala de estar / comedor está en el nivel superior. La cocina está equipada con todos los electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y encimeras de granito. El nivel inferior tiene una sala de playa con literas (fondo completo y una individual en la parte superior) que puede alojar a tres personas más.

A few hiccups that could not be avoided on the owners part, at the beginning of our stay, but we ended up having a very relaxing and wonderful vacation. Have traveled and stayed in condo rentals for 30 years and these are, by far, the most attentive, responsive and caring owners. It’s a great property and they deliver a great experience.

Beautiful beach front condo! Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Communication was easy and responses were quick. We enjoyed the short and easy walk to the beach, which made a huge difference for our stay because it allowed the kids to walk back by themselves if they forgot something. The levels in the house also worked really well for our family because kids could go to sleep and adults could still be up without waking anyone. Overall a great vacation.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The view is perfect. Only steps from the beach and the pool. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Owners were quick to respond with any questions we had. Check in was simple. The beach was beautiful and never crowded. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again in the future.

Perfect beach townhome in lovely Pine Knoll shores community (Beacons reach) just steps to the beautiful ocean! Our family had a wonderful weekend on the beach, we played tennis and pickleball, and got to see gorgeous sunsets all within walking distance. This is by far the nicest and largest place we’ve ever stayed in the area.

Perfect location with a view

Great location, beautiful views, and plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked and the interaction with the owners was extremely pleasant! We would highly recommend!!

From the seamless check-in to leaving at the end of the week , we couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to enjoy our time at the beach. Great views of the ocean and access to the beach couldn’t get much closer. From the back door to the sand in less than a minute .

Always the perfect spot

We have stayed at G-5 and it never disappoints! Perfect location and the views are awesome. The place is always clean and never an issue. Great check-in process and communication with the owners. We hope to return again.

BIG disconnect between how the property was listed and what it actually is. We did not have a washer and dryer our entire stay as the owner stated "the previous" guests broke it. Travelers from out of state, having a washer/dryer was one of our must haves in our VBRO search. We did not have the ability to shower for 3 days as drains were clogged. Dirty dishes, moldy shower curtains, dirty bedding and pillows without pillow covers, broken door out onto deck, inoperable hanging blinds, dirty/stained carpet, and a constant smell of sewer in the master bedroom/bath. We had communication with the owners on a daily basis being asked to let workers/contractors in to have people work on the unit. This unit has not been cared for or properly cleaned since it's remodel in 2019-that's 7 years. Only after sharing with the owner's pictures (out of respect I will not share in the review) and the state of the unit did they say they were planning on getting it deep cleaned and changing out the shower curtains upon our departure. It's unfortunate that this unit has not been cared for as it does have a great location, air conditioned worked, and it has great access to the beach. All of the unit's issues could have been avoided if properly cared for and maintained over time. Hopefully the next guests have a better experience & the unit's condition is not blamed on us. Based on our experience we would not recommend this rental. We did enjoy the area and NC.

We have total empathy for Jennifer and her family. They had a rough week and the townhouse showers should have been left in better condition. Regarding the washer/dryer, our cleaning crew had to vacuum sand out of the dryer Saturday before using it and when he started it, it made a grinding noise and burning smell. We decided to replace both and Lowe's promised a Wednesday AM delivery and install. Long story short, that promised was broken Wednesday and Thursday then only the dryer could be installed Friday evening. When we realize that they need to wash clothes and towels, we gave them the combination to the linen closet for fresh towels and made arrangements with our next door neighbor to use their laundry room. We thought we did the best we could to make an unfortunate laundry situation, somewhat acceptable. Regarding the shower and bathtub drains, Jennifer called us around 4pm Sunday afternoon and said all three showers were draining very slowly to not at all. We knew we couldn't get a plumber there until Monday so we offered them the use of our beach house 1/4 mile up the beach for showers and use of the hot tub, since we did not have guests arriving there until Tuesday. Our plumber cleared both shower drains just after Noon on Monday, but could not clear the MB shower so we had to call Clog Busters, they cleared that drain the next morning. Regarding proper maintenance, we spend two weeks there around Memorial Day and address issues that we find. The carpets are professionally cleaned every Spring, the stair carpeting was replaced in January of this year, we replaced a vertical blind in the twin room in June and the sliding patio door leading to the Juliet balcony overlooking the parking lot has been on order since June 1st and should be installed next month. We shared Jennifer's cleanliness complaints with our cleaning crew and they have taken action to improve. We agreed that Jennifer and her family had every right to be disappointed and offered to refund one nights rent, which they refused so we sent them an apology with a gift certificate to a steak/seafood restaurant in their hometown. We hope Jennifer and her family will return to the Crystal Coast and consider a future beach vacation with us. They were wonderful guests that put up with admittedly some problems. We gave them a 5 star rating. Jack and Janice

Wonderful location

We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the layout of the condo. We have an 18 month old, 3 and 4 year old so being able to get to the beach and pool in under a minute was perfect!

Relaxing weekend at Ocean Grove

We loved this property. It was clean, well stocked, spacious and the owners made us feel welcomed and cared for. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning at some point.

Lovely and comfortable spaces

This is a pretty condo, well appointed, comfortable and right on the beach. It was exactly what we were hoping for! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The whole stay could not have gone any better and we certainly hope to be back!

Very nice townhouse. It was very clean and all the appliances were in good shape. It was nice to have beach chairs and toys that we could use. The beach was amazingly empty here, which was great. Lots of stairs, so be ready for that. Not a ton of restaurant options close by, and they often had long waits. We would stay here again.

Best stay in PKS!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this beautiful townhouse. We loved the degree of privacy provided with bedrooms on multiple floors -- and the lower-level beach room is such a nice bonus space. The kitchen was very well appointed. There are numerous beach chairs available as well as beach toys for the little ones. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch, too. We would love to rent this property again!
