'Seaglass'-Perfect Beach House with Pool, Peaceful and Private

'Nowhere is life richer than where the land and water meet.' This beach front home is located on the only natural beach in Mississippi and is a nature lover's retreat. It is secluded, quiet and peaceful and allows you opportunities for fishing, boating, beachcombing and sight seeing. Your sole appointment for the day will be the magnificent sunset from the wrap around porch, private cabana, salt-water pool, or a walk along the private beach.

We are located only 20 minutes from the casinos and 15 minutes from the old charm of downtown Ocean Springs, with its unique shops and numerous restaurants. For golf and tennis lovers, there are several first-class courses and courts nearby. For the nature lover, there is Gulf Island National Seashore Park with its many hiking trails and island chain.

The brand new 2011 built home is a great place for families to relax and enjoy the scenic ocean views that await you from every room in the house. Whether you are sitting out by the pool, surf fishing, floundering, or simply building a sandcastle, you are sure to collect some cherished memories from your delightful stay.

If you enjoy entertaining, there is a comfortable family room and completely equipped kitchen with stainless steel applicances and granite countertops. Several flat screen televisions with Direct TV are located throughout. Table seating for 4 and kitchen island seating for 6, complete the open family/kitchen area. From this inviting area you can take in spectacular views of Horn Island and the Gulf or step out on the spacious deck to expand your entertainment experience.

The elegant master suite is equipped with a king size bed, 2 large closets and many views of the beach/Gulf. The master bath has a separate shower and tub, granite countertops, and ample space for dressing.

There are 2 guest bedrooms. Both rooms have comfortable queen size beds and each have their own closets. These two rooms use a shared bathroom with granite countertops and tub/shower.

If you are interested in fishing, boating, golfing, or tennis, let us know and we can 'hook' you up! This cottage style beach house is one of a kind and will leave you wanting more!

Even with a rainy weekend we still managed to have the best time! the house is beautiful and relaxing and we loved just sitting on the balcony and enjoying the views! Having the underneath was perfect for when it was raining! We were still able to be outside and playing games while doing a little grilling! We can't wait to go back!

The house was lovely and well-equipped. The view was phenomenal with lost of wildlife sightings. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, but close enough to town to go shopping or out to eat. Great outdoor space under the house for BBQ or crawfish boil. Would not recommend for anyone who has difficulty with stairs as there is no elevator.

This was an amazing stay!!! The house was lovely and inviting. We especially enjoyed the extra little things like a basket of children’s books, flashlights for beachcombing, puzzles and games. Eating on the porch with great views and dolphins swimming by various times was an extra bonus! The Sandhill cranes visiting the pool for a drink, the Carolina wrens nest in a life jacket, all the other backyard birds- I think we counted at least 20 different kinds of birds we saw. It was such a peaceful location! We walked many miles on the beach. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get away and relax!

Bill was wonderful and the house was everything we needed. We loved watching the dolphins every morning right from the house. We did alot of shore fishing and caught many stingrays and catfish. If you are looking for a quiet paradise for a family or couple this is perfect!

We are at least "once a yearers" for many years and we love it. Seaglass is a serene place, well equipped and private. The living area and outside areas are perfect for relaxation. The pool, though clean, could use some TLC but is certainly not a deterant. It is always refreshing nonetheless. We dream of our next visit as soon as we get home!

Lovely decor - the "sea" color palette is soothing and perfect for relaxing. The porch that faces the gulf and wraps around the west side of the house is ideal for morning coffee and/or a sunset sip of something with spectacular gulf views. The Seaglass location on Bell Fontaine Beach offers a lengthy stretch of beach both east and west of the house providing an enormous stretch of uninterrupted, pristine sand for long beach walks, and the privacy is divine. I am a return visitor and cannot say enough good about Seaglass!
