Charming 4 Season Lake Front Home (Fall & Winter Discounts Available)

This 5 Bedroom, two bathroom home provides you with the old world charm of the traditional lake front cottage with all of the amenities that we have come to expect on vacation. There are 4 bedrooms with queen beds and a bunk bed room. There is a living room and a sitting room. The ten foot dinning room table comfortably seats 12. Plenty of room in the backyard for family and friends to enjoy the lake. Outside amenities include 1000 sq. ft. of deck space overlooking the lake with an additional 1000 sq. ft. of covered patio space. During the day, go fishing or boating and at night enjoy roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Several Kayaks, paddle boards, peddle boat, jon boat and a canoe provided for your enjoyment (Including life jacks from infant to 2xl)

There is an additional bunk house conversion. The garage has been converted into a bunk house. It is available for rent for $600.00 weekly. It is great for a teenage hangout or for a family that wants separate sleeping quarters. It has a queen murphy bed, bunk beds and a sectional sofa. It is sleeps 4-5.

In fall enjoy the breath taking foliage from the panoramic view on the deck.

In the winter, there is plenty to do right at the house. There is sledding, ice fishing or cross country skiing right on the lake. Then come in and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate by the wood burning fire.

Discounts on the nightly rental rate are available after September.

The house is equipped with cable television and high speed internet. There is a $200.00 cleaning fee in addition to the rental fee. And, VT charges a 9% sales tax.

    Lake House Bliss

    The best vacation our family has had together! The property is beautiful and has a good vibe. We were all so happy there. Kids loved swimming and their parents loved paddle boarding!

    Perfect Getaway

    The view is amazing, mountains everywhere you look. The lake is small but has minimal boat traffic. We enjoyed all the water toys provided, especially the row boat, kayaks, and canoe. We rented a pontoon but it really wasn't necessary. The charm of the old cabin mixed with the updates to the exterior really made this property stand out. No one wanted to leave. There's a perfect mix of relaxation and things to do nearby. We enjoyed Scarlottas car hop, Bromley Mountain, Mini Golf, and the Pin Ball museum and bookstore in Manchester!

    Wonderful home

    This was a great home for our large family vacation. The owner provides everything for a wonderful time! Robiin was wonderful and reached out a few times to ensure we had all the information and any questions were answered.

    A Beautiful Lake Getaway

    This was our first time visiting Lake St. Catherine and we were more than pleased. The lake is beautiful and the views from the house are post card worthy. Our family of 6 adults (grandparents, parents) and 4 kids (ages 9, 11, 11, 13) enjoyed the lake every day. There were plenty of "water toys" and life jackets for us to enjoy the lake with. The kids loved swimming from the docks out to the swim platform - that was a real hit for them. At night, we all enjoyed sitting down by the lakeside firpit to share stories, star gaze, and roast yummy smores! The home owner Robin generously left a welcome basket of items for us (which was so thoughtful) and was quick to reply to a question I had while there. I will certainly miss the quiet lakeside morning coffee I had each day. But am thankful for the wonderful family memories we made during our stay!

    Fabulous place for a family gathering. Great indoor spaces & kitchen and lots of outdoor fun!

    The Longview house and property were fabulous - all that we could have hoped for! Kudos on the kitchen! We greatly appreciated the excellent cookware and dishes; and the overall spatial arrangement. It was great for the big family meals. We also loved your tasteful lake house decor - especially the arrangement of several sitting areas where smaller groups could hang out. The view of the Lake is incredible - we basked in the beauty; although we only used the deck a few times due to inclement weather. Still...the firepit and red chairs were our favorite outdoor spot - especially during cocktail hour with coats, hats, and gloves. It was a bit like camping out. šŸ˜„ The bedrooms were very nice with comfortable beds. šŸ‘ The house was clean, neat, and contemporary. We were glad to see recycling (there were quite a few cans and bottles). Good parking too! Great recreational supplies and boats too! Several of us fell in love with the Scrabble board - we now know what they're getting for Christmas! The only down side was the requirement to provide our own sheets & towels; however I understand that the owners are working on arranging for a linen service for next year's season. Thanks for a wonderful stay with many special memories.

    Perfect Lake Retreat for the Family

    This is the quintessential family lake house. Room for everyone but close enough to remind everyone that we were there to spend time together. Perfect location on the lake and so many toys. We will be going back next summer!

    Making Memories

    My family had such a great experience making memories at this beautiful home on the lake. The house had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay including water toys and indoor and outdoor games. The house and yard were very spacious with plenty of seating. Our favorite spot was the fire pit at the waters edge. The owners were easy to communicate with and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We did venture out to Bromley and the Quarry for some fun with the kids but honestly I wouldā€™ve been happy to sit in a chair and just enjoy the view!

    All you need to enjoy your vacation!

    The property was beautiful!! It had all the amenities we would ever need, had multiple seating areas on the main level which was nice especially when some wanted to play games and use the awesome chalkboard. The lake was gorgeous and we all enjoyed using the kayaks and paddleboards as well as the tubes we brought with us. All in all a wonderful family vacation!!! Thanks Robin.!

    Perfect Family Get-Away

    We stayed in this beautiful lakefront home for a family gathering. It could not have been a better setting. The accommodations were everything we needed. The house was clean and very cozy...we felt at home right away. The location has everything you need if you want to stay at the house the entire stay or close enough to great locations for day trips. Robin was wonderful to work with and made all the details easy and welcoming. We are already planning our visit for next year.

    Creating Family Memories - Great Place!

    Our family had a fantastic time creating lifelong memories at this amazing property. The home had everything we needed and is warm and cozy. The location was great, and we now know why the bunkhouse is called ā€œLongviewā€. Great views across the lake and was able to capture some great photos during our stay.     Beautiful lake front house, perfect for our family

    Thank you again for an absolutely perfect vacation/wedding weekend at your beautiful house on Lake Saint Catherine. It was the most fun I have ever had with Scott and all the kids and was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Not kidding. The wedding day culminated with a group swim on Saturday night and a truly outstanding fireworks display put on by your neighbors on the other side of the lake. There are so many beautiful sunrises, eagle sightings or other really fun moments that I canā€™t even begin to list them all here. One noteworthy happening was that we found several (> 20) baby box turtles that had recently hatched and were making their long trek down your back lawn to the lake. Several of the kids, my son in particular, made it his mission that afternoon to rescue as many as he could, and deposit them safely in the lake. We tried to locate their nest but were never able to. The weather was hot and lovely. Different every day. Thank you again for the memorable week. There is talk that we would do it again next year and Scottā€™s daughterā€™s partner mentioned that he wanted to come back with his family!

    Relaxing, fun filled, lakeside vacation. Something for everyone.

    Whether you just want to kick back and relax, or spend your day on the lake boating and swimming, this home has what you need! Our family chose his house for its lakeside proximity, and affordability, but we got so much more. It seems like the owners really thought of everything! Thereā€™s plenty to do inside if the weather is rainy or cold, but thereā€™s also boats, kayaks, and paddle boards outside for those warm sunny days. The fire pit is located right next to the shore and is a beautiful place to watch the sun set, roast marshmallows or star gaze. It just so happens to be the place where my now, fiancĆ© and I got engaged! The home itself was impeccably cleaned, and maintained. The decor was so cute and cozy, and really made the place feel like a home. The kitchen had everything we needed, and plenty of dinnerware to go around. We had more than enough room to sit down together and eat a family dinner, or even play a game of cards. Our whole family was more than thrilled with our stay, and we are hoping to come back again next year!

    Amazing Lakehouse

    This is our second year staying at this property and each time it has been amazing. There are an abundance of water toys for both the kids and adults that kept us busy all week. This year we explored a few beautiful hiking trails nearby with great views of the lake and mountains. The house is wonderfully maintained and perfect for extended families. The location and view of the lake cannot be beat. The owners have been a pleasure to deal with and I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

    This property was picture perfect!!

    This was like staying at a resort. The owner thought of everything to make our stay amazing. From wawad the besttersports to lawn games tilo indoor games for those rainy days that seem to follow us on vacation. It was the best. Our granddaughter from Australia said the week up there was the best part of their holiday. Accommodations were perfect and the owner is a joy to deal with. I highly recommend this for a fabulous vacation spot

    Luxurious Lake Living at it's very best!

    For the second year, our family enjoyed a relaxing, fun filled week on the lake. The house continues to get better (if that's even possible) with improvements and additions to guest comfort. A beautiful, clean house filled with everything you could ever need is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy life on the lake! The best hosts who quickly respond and truly care about making their guests feel at home. Thanks for another fantastic stay. The only regret, we couldn't stay longer. See you next year!

    Outstanding Venue

    This home exceeded all expectations from its outstanding view to the quality furnishings. We traveled with 11 family members for a family reunion and there was ample room for all, including for meals and spaces to get away. The owners have thought of everything from kitchen utensils to water toys to board/electronic games making it ideal for a large group. The owners were very responsive in communications and providing instructions. There is no doubt we will be back!

    Perfect Week on the Lake with our Family

    We've been lake renters for ten years and hands down, this home was everyone's favorite. Incredible location with long lake views, clean, tastefully decorated, very comfortable beds, everything you could think of to enjoy a week at the lake and an owner who is super responsive and accommodating. This home was the perfect size for our family to gather and enjoy fun times together on the lake, on the deck, around the large table for meals and games, and nights around the campfire. Watching the sunrise from the dock one morning was a special, quite moment I enjoyed while the rest of the house slept. But that was surpassed by a visit from a bald eagle who landed in one of the tall pines to do some fishing. We stood in silent awe on the deck to watch this majestic creature just 30 feet away. Such a cool moment! Some played golf at the nearby country club, some enjoyed putt putt golf and ice cream at Otto's, some went antiquing/thrift store shopping, and we all enjoyed a night out at The Barn in nearby Pawlet for $14 entrees. It was a fantastic week with our family in a beautiful home. Thank you Marzella's for sharing your special home with us. We're already looking forward to next year!

    Roomy, yet cozy...very welcoming!

    Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The indoor and outdoor facilities exceeded our expectations. Our family loved all the "gathering places" - meals together around the large dining table, picnicking and relaxing on the big deck overlooking the lake, and conversation over s'mores and a glass of wine around the fire pit at night. Possibilities on/in the lake are endless - we couldn't get enough! The picturesque setting of the house is best appreciated from the water - love the American flags waving in the wind. The home's decor is truly special with updated lighting fixtures, a beautiful palette of colors, and attention to detail with many accessories. Visited Wells Country Store for muffins and donuts, Otto's for sandwiches and ice cream, and Manchester Center for shopping. Hope to return to this beautiful location!

    Pure Delight

    Multiple generations of my family have been renting on Lake St. Catherine for almost 50 years, and I can never recall quite as delightful an experience as at this wonderful lakefront home. We enjoyed plenty of space with beautifully decorated rooms (with air conditioning when needed!) and a large deck with rockers, gliders, and a big table for family dinners. A fire pit at the lakefront, water toys including kayaks, a paddle boat, paddle boards, and a canoe made for wonderful days and evenings enjoying the water and the stunning lake views. The owner was very welcoming and helped with all of our questions as we prepared for our vacation. We'll be back!!

    Lake Catherine Rental

    Our family have been vacationing on various lakefront houses in Vermont for more than 20 years. I can say that this property/house/lakefront was one of the best we ever had the pleasure of staying in. The house was clean, well furnished, kitchen well stocked with whatever was needed for cooking. The owner allowed us to use their kayaks and paddle boards. The large deck had beautiful views of the lake, with plenty of outdoor furniture. I would highly recommend this property, and we hope to one day go back there.
