Pet Policy
Pet MUST meet ALL six criteria below:
1. Well-behaved dog ONLY! (No cats or other pets allowed)
2. Only 1 dog, must be under 40lbs.
3. Must be housebroken without history of accidents.
4. No excessive barking and destructive behavior when left alone.
5. Doesn’t chew and/or scratch doors, furniture, carpets, linens, etc.
6. Dog is treated with Advantage, or similar flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival.

Dogs are permitted only if arranged in advance. The addition of any other dog is prohibited without prior approval. The pet owner is solely responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by their dog.
To bring a dog, guest(s) must agree to the following terms:
• Guests agree to keep their dog under control at all times and leashed when outside.
• Guests agree to promptly report any damage caused by their dog.
• Guests agree to pay any costs for damage done by their dog.
• If damages are not reported but are found by owners/agent, it will be documented, reported to the guest, and necessary replacement or repair costs will be charged to guest(s) credit card on file.
• Guests agree that their dog is housebroken.
• All pets must be up to date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm preventative is highly recommended.
• Guests agree that the pet will not get on the furniture or bedding. There will be a $100 additional fee if pet hairs are found on the furniture or bedding.
• Guests agree that dog(s) will be rinsed of sand & dried thoroughly before entering the house. Dog towels are provided & must be washed, dried, and returned to the proper spot before check-out. Guest linens & towels should NEVER be used on your pet!
• Guests agree that dog(s) will not be washed in the bathtubs or showers inside the unit. This must be done with the hose outside the garage or in the backyard.
• Guests agree to adhere to local ordinances, leash laws and licensing requirements.
• Guests agree to clean up after their dog(s) & dispose of their dog(s’) waste promptly. Deposit waste in the white trash bag in the garage and upon checkout, tie the bag and place in garbage can. If any, waste isn’t disposed of properly guest is subject to a $50 charge.
• Guests agree to keep dog(s) from being noisy or aggressive, and from causing any annoyance or discomfort to others. Guests will remedy any complaints immediately, if not, will be asked to vacate the property and shall forfeit ALL money and deposits.
• KagLand Vacation Rentals are not responsible for guests’ dog(s). Guests agree to pay agents promptly for any damage, loss or expense caused by their pets.
• No personal dog beds or other such items should be put in the washer or dryer!
• “Vicious or Dangerous Dogs” trained for dog fighting or with any tendency or disposition to attack any dog, other domestic animals, or humans without provocation are not permitted at any time. Any dog with a recorded history of biting is strictly prohibited.
• Please bring your dog’s bedding, as they are not permitted on the furniture or in the beds. Additionally, it is recommended to bring dog toys and waste bags.

The following will be provided for use during your stay:
o Pet bowls
o Pet towels and pet blankets
o Kennel

Our property is conveniently located about 4 miles East of I-95. if you are driving and the Daytona International Airport is 5 miles, Sanford International Airport is 43 miles, Orlando International Airport is 77 miles .Taxi's, Shuttles, rental cars and ride share services are available at the airports.
