This large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo is on the 4th floor of this complex. It is also an end unit which gives it the additional light and views from the side windows. The balcony is 30 feet of comfortable space for relaxing and enjoying the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There is a King size bed in the master bedroom which faces the beach, there is a TV/ DVD player in this room also. The large guest bedroom has 2 Queen beds.
There is a couch and a recliner in the living room - YES SLEEPER SOFA although there are 2 twin cots in the unit available for use. Living room has a flat screen TV with DVD player and streaming capabilities (High Speed Internet access is provided).
The large kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils and appliances. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the separate laundry room for your convenience.

Extremely Disappointed!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I are extremely disappointed. If you could take pictures or video of the smell it would sum everything up. After 14 hours of driving we arrived at the office to get the key for the room and when we went in to check everything out we noticed a urine smell and other gross smells. We checked the beds and in one of the queen beds we found urine that was soaked through the mattress cover and it was on the clean sheets and the comforter. There was hair in the king bed. The bathrooms were not very clean. We had to actually wipe the toilets down before we could use them. Where you hang your towels had something all over the wall. Dirty smelly rugs/carpet in the bedrooms. Nothing had been washed. The bathrooms rugs looked like they had never been washed. The dryer would not dry our clothes no matter the size of load. The table cover had food and stains all over it - it had not been washed. It was filthy. This was our first family vacation in 4 years and it was not a great experience. The guy that works there tried to help, but we didn't want to be moved to another room just to be moved again. There was another room he wanted to move us to, but no washer/dryer. I didn't want to spend my time cleaning, moving or going to a laundry mat (that had 1 washer/dryer for an entire floor). We ended up getting clean mattress covers and sheets (no flat sheets for the queen beds and no clean pillow cases). They couldn't give us clean bedspreads, so we had to go and buy new blankets and pillows. We also bought Febreze, lysol and cleaning supplies so we could wipe everything down and try to get rid of the awful smell. I asked if they could do anything for the awful experience and everything we had to do just to be able to stay there. They said that they can’t. It has to do with the owner. We obviously had no where else to go or we would have wanted our money back and stayed somewhere else.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was exactly like the pictures. Getting to and from beach was super convenient, can’t beat this location. Lots of space and seating for larger parties. One of the best parts was watching the fireworks from our balcony that are done every Wednesday during the summer! You do have to check in at a separate location than the condo but it’s location is near by and we passed it on our way in so wasn’t an inconvenience. You won’t be disappointed!

Springbreak

The condo was very clean and in an excellent location. We had a problem with the dishwasher and I called the property manager and someone was there to fix it in less than 30 minutes. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great time. Can’t beat the location. Condo beds are comfortable. Could us some updating in the kitchen with better cooking pans. Cleaning could have been a little more thorough. Walked into hand prints all over the walls in the master room and trash still left under the chaise lounge chair on outside patio.

The only negative to the room was no deadbolt on inside of room and we have little kids and like the extra security to help keep p them in. Other than that it was clean and very spacious.

Overall, the property was great. The only complaint I have is the dryer. We washed beach towels every night and the dryer took at least 4 to 5 cycles to dry them every time.

Reviewer Comments: Place is a wonderfully comfortable size and we like sitting on the balcony watching the water and the world go by with a good book in our hands and a good drink nearby. While it was only the wife and I, the accommodations are sized that another 4 are easily handled. The kitchen was reasonably equipped for a vacation rental with all the basic tools (no leftover spices or oils that I have found in others, which is fine). You can tell from the pictures that cutting edge interior design is not the unit’s strong point, but the beds and furniture (inside and out was comfortable enough). It is clean; but the ceramic tile is due for a deep clean and the bedroom carpets have some age. Couple of picky things: 1) the big TV is in the primary bedroom and not the living room and 2) the TV in the second room has no outside service that I could figure out. The location is wonderful with great access to good restaurants and the street the building is on is not at all that busy. It all feels a half step away from the busiest areas (which we like).

It also was the first time using your services.We found your salesman, Auston very polite and helpful. He even came to change a battery in a chirping fire detector.The condo was spacious and very accommodating. The only issue we had was a tv in the second bedroom. The couple with us were unable to watch Direct TV in their room.The beach service personel were very friendly and willing to work with minor issues that came up. They also volunteered to help the couple with us pull their ice chest across the sand to the chairs.Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay at the Surf Dweller Condos. We have already agreed we would like to return to this same room on furthur trips.

So big!

This place was so nice and very spacious! Largest 2 bedroom condo we've ever stayed in! It comfortable fit 8 adults and 8 children. It had the best view of the beach and we saw dolphins every day!

Graduation gift. 7/4/2019

I have not been able to Visit the gulf coast in the past two years because I have been in registered nursing school. I graduated and passed my state board in June. I knew I wanted to get back to the Gulf before starting work. The Surf Dweller was in a fabulous location, easy to get to, easy access and had tons of space for our stay. We were there for seven days. The condominium was clean had ample amenities and a beautiful view. I would recommend this location to friends and family. I look forward to returning to Fort Walton Beach soon.
