Why Charlie Roberts chose Northwest High Country

We visited this location one time and completely fell in love with the beautiful forest, and stream. The Cabin is one of a kind and most charming. After one night we felt we just had to have this spot in the world.

What makes this cabin unique

We love sitting on the porch, enjoying the woods and unique waterfall built by Charlie. The cabin is rustic and comfy. We have three locations that you can put in a raft or any floating thing of your choice and you will arrive back at the cabin in 45 minutes, or 1.5 hours, 2.5 hours. If you stop to fish it will take longer. Most of the rapids will be class one and maybe 2 if you go for it. Easy ride in canoe, or raft. Lots of people tube the river.

10 minute drive will give you some of the most beautiful trail to walk with numerous water falls along the way. White Tail deer or very numerous and some times you will spot a black bear. We enjoy the charming downtown for shopping and dining. There are many unique, one of a kind shops and restaurants . Be sure to visit Mericers Orchards!

We so enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful weather, spring trees and flowers. Once it warmed up we sat outside as much as possible. Checked out the Apple place, yummy cider. Harvest restaurant was great food. Enjoyed fire pit one eve.

Tiny house dreams in mountain hot tub bliss to the sound of falling water

  • 5 of 5

Tiny house hunters should profile the Quaint Cabin! Shower only bathroom is supplemented with a hot tub right outside under the stars. Coffee & pastries on the bistro table on the front porch coupled with rocking chairs to read & watch the rain in the afternoon was so peaceful. Evening dinner on the large cabin back porch while the waterfall sang with the frogs was magical. Thank you Charlie for dry firewood to complete the romance.

Very peaceful

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I went for a romantic weekend getaway. We wanted to escape our crazy lives for a bit and just focus on each other. This cabin was more than adequate for our purpose. Charlie went above and beyond to make sure that we had our privacy and enjoyed our time. The space was small but for two people it works great. The hot tub was magical and the fact that it's away from the cabin and you can stare up at the stars at night gives the impression of being in an entirely different world, it's very relaxing and peaceful and was our favorite feature of the cabin. The property is nice and the waterfall behind the large cabin was relaxing. Since no one was staying in the large cabin while we were there, (Charlie made sure of it in order to give us more privacy), we were able to sit on the spacious back porch of the large cabin and fully enjoy the waterfall and all the space provided. We roasted marshmallows and hotdogs and had a great time! The only negative I would say would be that the outdoor furniture needs a good cleaning. Most of it was too dirty to enjoy and was covered in cobwebs and spiders. Overall though we had an excellent time and would definitely go back!
