The house has attached, temperature controlled beach storage containing two crab pots, beach chairs, life vests and paddles for the two supplied kayaks. Also , a crab steamer and grill are there if you prefer to cook outside. Saturday mornings during the summer, you can find local grown items at the farmers market on the courthouse green located at Matthews Courthouse. While there, be sure to visit some of the quaint shops to find that unique gift or get a bite to eat at one of the many local restaurants throughout the courthouse area. Historic Yorktown, Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg are about an hour away.
