This charming waterfront piece of paradise truly begins along the relaxing drive in. Start slowing down as you wind your way through the fields of Deltaville, around beautiful farmland, and down our tree-lined drive. Parking in the garden cove, situated to the rear of the house, will start your unwind magically.

Enjoy the welcome of our bubbling garden fountain and boxwood-lined brick walk, as you navigate up and around your personal gardeners paradise. Encased by an assortment of plants, the garden offers an environment of tranquility any time of day, with the sounds of birds, bugs, and breezes rustling through the trees: charming stone bench provided.

Once you feel like you’ve landed, plan to visit the cottage for a sink into home life on the Piankatank River. A spacious mudroom awaits to store your bags as you tour this cozy waterman’s cottage. Enjoy an open concept kitchen & living room with bar seating for four, a comfortable sofa, and a cozy fireplace. Television is offered here as an option.

Float through the home to the conservatory, with table seating for four, a stunning piano, and a spectacular view. Step out through the sliding doors and have a restful sit on one of our adirondak chairs, taking in the breathtaking skies, or gather around the picnic table to make your plan for your stay.

Might you want an easeful swing over the water in our hovering day bed, or perhaps you’d prefer to fish from the dock? If the water is your friend, enjoy the private beach access.

Perhaps you choose yoga on the deck platform, or sit and watch the nesting water birds feed their young (we’re on year two with the same birds!). Maybe sleep is in order and your options will not disappoint. Choose from one of four beds, each designed with melting in mind. Bedding chosen with care, that gives the feeling of being swaddled: these beds are a whole vibe and might alone be worth the trip.

There are two full bathrooms available for guests, one with a standing shower, and one with a bathtub. Should you need bath goods, there is a market located 2.3 miles away, open until at least 8p, Tue-Sun. There is a gas station 1.3 miles from home, with 24-hr pumps and full convenience store offerings.

For the morning, enjoy coffee on premises, or step out to our family-owned cafe, just 1.7 miles away. Decadent recipes, boasting serious southern cuisine alongside several local favorites. The Table is noted for its savor-worthy breakfast options, classic lunch choices with Chef Helen Elizabeth’s talented touch, and equally tasty and generous dinner portions to reward the mouth as much as the mind. Don’t forget to grab some homemade donuts on your way back to round off your getaway.
