Dishwasher top rack kept falling off the rail. Needed more bath towels for 10 people. And prob a few extra beach towels. Overall, fantastic beautiful place. We loved it. Very responsive staff.

From entering the grand front door and immediately seeing the beautiful view, I knew we were all going to enjoy our stay. The five spacious bedrooms, hard to pick which one, favorite for us was the peaceful oasis upstairs away from our older adult children & grandchildren! Great location & property. Everyday we had communication from Tanya By the Sea, with updates of current events and to let us know if we needed anything! We would definitely book through her again !

The property was very nice. The kitchen appliances could use replacing. The main disappointment was the TV setup. The You Tube TV was lousy. The wifi in a couple of the bedrooms would fail at random times then you'd have no TV. Even when it worked it was bad. I would suggest just getting a normal cable TV Plan and people that have subscriptions to Netflix, Peacock, HBO Max, etc.. can sign on to use those if desired. Also the lock on the bathroom powder room door on the main floor doesn't work. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. The backyard and pool was great. Th entry at the front of the house was great.

Large home, beautiful setting

A group of nine women in their late 60s and up stayed here for 10 days. We loved the outdoor space and the views, the large dining room table and game table and comfy seating around a large TV. There were only a few drawbacks for us. The oven was low to the ground and had a very heavy door (We cook in every night having gourmet chefs in the group). We found the freezer drawer very heavy to open and every time we opened it the top shelf for the ice would drop and we would have to get it back on the track. The same could be said for the dishwasher. Every time we pulled the top rack out it would come off the track and drop. Finally, there was one bedroom upstairs, but no handrails for the first few steps or the last steps at the top of the staircase. We felt this was a hazard and should be addressed. Otherwise, the manager of the house was very accessible and answered quickly anytime we had questions or concerns. We would consider returning if the items noted get addressed.

Clean and comfortable! The pool and pool view was amazing! Nice and relaxing, which was what we went for! The house is very big and offers many sleeping options with comfortable beds! The host was gracious and friendly. Returned my texts promptly and accommodated our needs! Def stay again!

Fifth bedroom is an office and a bed was added but no access to a shower without going to someone else’s bedroom. Property needs maintenance. Landscaping not kept well. TV by YouTube only. High pitched sound from pool pump that constantly Runs all night. The property manager and their service was excellent

Fantastic property.....with one caveat

Four of my friends decided that the 5 of us needed a reunion. A couple of them haven't seen me since high school...FORTY years ago! We found Casa Santa Barbara and rented it for a week. The pictures on the site don't really do it justice. The property is situated in close proximity to EVERYTHING you could want. Supermarket is 3 minutes away, beach is 5 minutes away (15 or 20 if walking), restaurants galore within minutes as well. The inside of the house is stunning!! Every bedroom was comfortable and my husband and I arrived an hour before our friends and couldn't decide which bedroom we wanted. Four of the five have full bathrooms and, unfortunately, the one without had the best view. It was originally set up as an office and had a fantastic view of the pool and waterways. Without a bathroom, we left it for our one friend who was only coming for 3 days lol. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are all very nice with one having a standard tub/shower combo. All the others have walk in showers. The owners left bar soap and small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc. Four of the bedrooms are on the first floor. The fifth is upstairs and takes up the second floor. That room is larger and has a small balcony so you can sit outside and watch the boats go by. Everyone was happy with their accomodations! The gathering areas of the house are open floor concept and made it easy for us to talk while some were cooking and others on the couch. The kitchen is VERY well appointed with a large fridge, dishwasher, oven and countertop convection oven. There are plenty of plates, glasses, coffee cups and any kind of cooking utensil you could need. The electric stove was alright, but none of us usually use electric and prefer gas, but it worked for its intended purposes....especially since we cooked breakfast and dinner for 8-10 people every day. There is a smaller, bar height table to eat at situated in a nook that has a great view of the outside. We only used the 8 person, full dining room table though. There is both an island in the kitchen (where the stove is located) as well as a VERY large bar/island that surrounds the entire kitchen and where we spent the most time sitting and talking while people cooked. The bar has plenty of outlets so you can sit and work on your laptop, charge phones, etc. Very convenient. It is a beautiful kitchen. The living room has two couches and a single chair. They were very comfortable and allowed us to watch the large television that is there. The tv and sound system are separate and it was a bit frustrating that they didn't work on one remote, but we didn't spend too much time there anyway. The backyard is the star of the show. There is a nice pool that I and my friend spent most of our time in. There are beach towels, pool noodles to float on and the cleaning company came twice while we were there to clean, fill and put in the necessary chemicals. In July, we didn't need it, but there is a heating unit if you come in the colder months. There is a picnic table with umbrella as well as a BBQ grill. The dock let my friends fish, but they didn't get any bites. The view is fantastic!! We watched boats come and go, the sunsets and, on a few nights, lighting storms in the distance. We spent hours almost every day just sitting and talking out there. You will also see the family of iguanas that live in the trees. They keep their distance, but were fun to watch. I almost forgot to mention that there is also a full size washer and dryer so you can do your laundry during your stay. The only negative thing I can say (and it isn't enough that I am going to ding any stars) is regarding the acoustics. It is VERY echo-y inside the house. If the television was on or multiple people were talking in different areas in the kitchen/living areas it can be difficult to hear things. You will need to just get closer to the person you are talking to. We would definitely rent this property again without hesitation.

Great Place!

The entire group had a Blast at Casa Santa Barbara. Perfect location for beach, bars or Publix runs. The pool was perfect in the afternoons during Sunset. No one had any complaints! Easy check in and out. Thanks again, we will be back!!!

Another Lovely Stay

We returned to Casa Santa Barbara after enjoying a previous stay 18 months before and found the home to be almost the same as we left it It was still a wonderful place for us to enjoy with our adult children. There were some updates to the landscaping and beautiful pool area and it seems that an issue we had with one of the bedrooms in 2022 had been fixed. There was a previous problem with the oven, but the management brought in some counter-top ovens to make sure we had everything we might need. We had a small (short) internet issue one evening, but were able to fix it with the help of the very responsive management staff. Two of us were working remotely and had no connection problems during working hours. We had some trouble with 2 of the hairdryers we tried, but found another one that worked fine. Everything else was perfect for our relaxing and enjoyable time in Pompano Beach. We hope we will be able to return again sometime!

Great view and nice home!

Beautiful water views, lovely pool (extra charge to heat it), high ceilings, tons of counter space! 4 rooms with their own bathrooms and showers or bathtubs, and 1 extra spacious room without a bathroom. I also liked pulling the car up to the front door, protected from the rain by a huge overhang. Very convenient! Advice: make sure you don't slip on the stone floors, especially in the bathrooms! CON: the vrbo agreement will be supplemented by a very extensive additional agreement that *insanely* provides that should the home become totally unusable -say due to a hurricane- or should the AC stop working that this is a risk the RENTER accepts and they won't get a refund. I was under the gun to get a spot, but that fine print is downright offensive. Yeah if I damage the place I should make it right. But if the LANDLORD can't provide a fully working place, then that should result in a REFUND to the renter. That said, the management is very responsive and the place is really lovely. Just "renter beware" on that contract.

The house is big and the view is amazing!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Santa Barbara, one of By the Sea Vacation Villas, and it offered an amazing waterfront experience. The view from the house was absolutely stunning, overlooking the peaceful waters of the intracoastal waterway. Waking up to such a picturesque scene was truly a delight. The villa's spacious pool was the perfect place for our family to relax and soak up the serene surroundings. Whether we were swimming, fishing, simply lounging by the poolside or watching the boats go by, we couldn't get enough of the tranquil ambiance. Tanya, our property manager, was extremely communicative and attentive to our needs. She made sure our stay was comfortable and went above and beyond to ensure everything was in order. Her prompt and friendly communication added an extra level of satisfaction to our vacation. We look forward to our next rental experience with her!

Family Friendly Resort

Awesome view

Beautiful home that accommodated our large family of adult kids and grandkids. Large spacious rooms & a bathroom/shower for each. A half bath was added bebff we got in main living area. Master suite was huge and offered Papa & Grammy a place to retreat too. Beautiful pool & view of intracoastal and Lake Lettuce. Short 5 minute drive to pompano beach and all the shops and restaurants who'd want. Overall a great stay for our two weeks.

Home was beautiful and accommodated our four couples with ease. The pool is great, we spent many hours in and around the pool. The neighborhood is very safe and great for walking. Tanya and her team were very helpful and responsive answering questions and addressing issues with the house. We are coming back next year.

Amazing property!

Such a beautiful home. Fully equipped with all the necessities. The pool was so warm & much larger than expected. 5 very large bedroom and plenty of parking with a whimsical entrance. Very professional host & helpful. I would highly recommend this property!
