Nice and Quiet

This place was just perfect for what we needed a cool and quiet place. Was doing a motorcycle trip with a friend and we parked our bikes, just outside the entrance door and it was covered parking. There was chairs outside to enjoy but after a hot day we just stayed inside, but we both agreed it would be great in the fall or spring.

Crickets chirping, hay in the wind and a cowgirls dream.

A horse on my porch with my morning coffee...Definitely a repeat guest. Picturesque and scenere. If you have pets, it's their dream vacation as well!

Wonderful Hosts, Property and Setting

The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Also, the accommodations were very comfortable and exceptionally clean. And the host was available and responsive to our questions, This is a great place to enjoy the quiet of the country, with the conveniences of larger towns nearby. The covered parking was an added bonus, as we were there primarily to fish, and the covered area accommodated both our truck and boat.

Working break

Delightful place to stay plus two delicious loaves of tea breads! Our hosts, Charles and Frances, were extremely concerned about our comfort and that we had working internet (we had great speed and connection). We were in the area to work but still felt that we had taken a lovely break.

Home away from home!

This little diamond in the rough was so much fun! My mom and I had an opportunity to get away for the weekend to visit family, and this sweet little spot was perfect. It was off the beaten path, quiet and the view of the horses with our morning coffee was perfect. The accommodations were amazing! Our hosts were pleasant and readily available if we needed anything. Honestly, this was the best VRBO experience we’ve had in a very long time. The place was spotless, we loved the covered parking while we were there because it rained most of the weekend, and we so appreciated the security lights at night. Oh, and let’s not forget the homemade zucchini bread! Which was an unexpected, but oh so yummy treat, and perfect with our morning coffee. I highly recommend this sweet country getaway. Although, I’m reluctant to tell anyone about it because I want to keep it a secret so it’s always available when we need it. LOL!! Definitely book it! You won’t regret it!
