Beautiful lake views, easy access to the water, a very quiet area, a fully equipped kitchen, beds and high quality bedding are comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms are clean and up to date.
Exactly as described, had EVERYTHING we needed including extra accessories for lobster meal, campfire, smore roasting, and lots of games for the kids. Quiet neighborhood. Would absolutely stay again! Thank you!
We loved this cabin and location! The cabin was very comfortable and equipped for everything we needed. We used all of the boats, enjoyed the hammock and the fire pit. We took advantage of everything and loved it! A beautiful pond and wonderful accommodations! Would highly recommend this cabin to others.
Totally enjoyed staying here, and definitely would book this house again. The kids loved the kayaks, the paddle board and fishing from the dock. It is tucked away in a woodsy, peaceful setting but just a short drive to Camden.
Carolee was the BEST host! She went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. The quiet secluded cabin was fully stocked. It was just as described on VRBO. I HIGHLY recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay away from the traffic but close enough to all the adventure.
This was a perfect place for us to spend Thanksgiving. Comfortably furnished and had everything we needed. We hope to return someday and enjoy paddling on the beautiful lake in addition to enjoying the lovely view. Close enough to get to restaurants and attractions but a quiet, serene setting.
Great location, clean and just enough updates and convinces for today’s current expectations without loosing the classic Maine cabin experience. The setting was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. I hope to return one day.
If you’re looking for a relaxing lakeside cabin to retreat and relax in nature, this is the one to book! Plenty of space for 6 adults with clean and comfortable rooms. Well stocked kitchen so you can cook up if you want. Lots of thoughtful extras and plenty of firewood. Canoes were lots of fun too! We didn’t want to leave. Also not far from Camden which is the perfect little seaside town. Highly recommend this place to anyone!
Such a beautiful property! Very quiet and peaceful! Spotlessly clean with many small touches for our comfort and enjoyment. Comfy beds, lots of fans and well-stocked kitchen, bathrooms and laundry.Loved the wooden screen doors that slammed shut behind you - reminded me of my childhood stays at our grandparents' cottage.Very thankful for wi-fi calling!Loved spending our mornings on the dock with the sunshine and our coffee warming us as we watched the mist rising on the pond & listened to the loons calling to each other. We fished from the dock every day, catching perch, bass and northern pike. Our sweet little southern daughter-in-law caught a huge bass!We used the campfire pit several times since there was an abundance of dry firewood provided for our use.Would love to stay here again if we're ever back in Maine! Blessings to Carolee and Dan for sharing this beautiful home wih us.
The cabin (house) is newer and exactly as advertised. It is meticulously clean and well prepared. We enjoyed our stay there and recommend. We used it as base to visit Camden, Bath, Bangor, Augusta etc. The seafood restaurant just down the hill was very good and there are grocery stores not far away. It was a bit cloudy and cool during our stay (mid-June) so we did not spend as much time on the lake out back as we should have. Overall, we have nothing but positive memories from our stay and recommend this property to others.
Calling this place a “quintessential Maine camp” almost feels like an understatement — as if words could ever do it justice. This camp doesn’t just check all the boxes of what you dream a Maine getaway should be; it embodies the very soul of it.From the moment you arrive, you’re wrapped in that unmistakable Maine hush — the whisper of pines, the glimmer of lake water catching the sun, the call of a loon echoing across the still morning. The cabin itself is rustic in the most perfect way, but somehow still impossibly cozy and comfortable, like it was built from a love letter to summer. Everything about it invites you to slow down: mornings with coffee on the porch, afternoons drifting on the water, evenings around the fire as the stars spill across the sky. It’s not just beautiful — it’s restorative. There’s a timelessness here, a kind of magic that makes you forget about clocks, screens, and the outside world. Whether you’re paddling, reading, laughing with friends, or simply doing nothing at all, it all feels exactly right. If you’re searching for the ideal Maine camp experience, know this: you won’t just find it here — you’ll fall in love with it. Quintessential isn’t even adequate. This place is unforgettable.
Stayed here a week with friends and did not want to leave. It was charming...from the well appointed cabin nestled in the woods to the awesome firepit to the spectacular view. Leaves were glorious and the quiet was amazing. It was secluded but close enough to many charming places. Camden, Belfast, Bar Harbor and Acadia are all drivable for a nice day. But the star is the beautiful pond! Hosts were lovely and accommodating. I'd like keep this gem to myself as we will definitely be back, but feel the need to say... 5 STARS!
I was not aware that there was no cable tv- not good on a rainy day-that will prevent me from coming back to that cabin.

Hi, so sorry you experienced a rainy day. If you look at the amenities provided on our property listing, it purposely does not list cable TV. We do have fast Wifi and a smart TV which provides access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon or any other streaming providers to which you may have personal subscriptions. Hope you had a great vacay otherwise - we love to watch Netflix, surf the internet, read books, play chess when we are at the cabin on rainy days.
A beautiful cabin with everything we needed or wanted. The pond was beautiful and we enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard. The cabin is only a few miles from Camden and the ocean.
A cozy and quiet cabin on beautiful Coleman Pond. It is fully equipped for a comfortable and fun filled vacation. Great swimming from the dock and kayaking with the Loons. It is close to numerous hiking trails and Lincolnville restaurants.
Great for family stay! Bunk room was large enough for play—we even put up a tent in there for the kids to enjoy The host thought of everything a family might need, bug spray and cotton swabs, games and wi-fi, and a bicycle pump we used for blowing up the float toys! The lake is beautiful and quiet, the location serene, road was just bumpy enough that the baby loved the stroller walks. I LOVED that the fridge and freezer were clean and EMPTY! I did have to rearrange and remove some personal "things" placed decoratively on most surfaces—so as to protect them from the grandkids, and to make a little space for our own collection of cell phones, iPads and baby paraphernalia. Beds were comfortable and there were lots and lots of pillows (a big plus in our family!) All one needs to bring is clothes and food! Everything else is there! A great week. Thank you!
The cabin had everything we needed for a week's getaway. Loved that a canoe and kayaks were included so we could get out on the water to explore. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our only recommendation would be that it would be great if the dock were a little longer since there isn't much room (or sun) to sit on shore. Otherwise, no complaints. Loved our stay at the cabin!
Property was stocked with all kind of spices and essentials for cooking. Love the used of kayaks and paddle board. The stay would had been perfect if not for the mosquitoes that were out in force daily. We sprayed ourselves everywhere daily and still get bitten.
Excellent location, clean and comfortable and very relaxing. We had just had a death in the family and all of us were tense and unhappy prior to our visit. But sitting on the porch and watching the lake was just the right therapy for all of us. Thank you again!
We searched for a cabin on the water in Lincolnville later than usual. This cabin was the only one that was appropriate, though far earlier in the season than we like and more expensive than we've ever paid after renting in this area for almost 50 years.
This was our 2nd summer staying in this home and it was just as great as the year before! The kids had a blast using the water activities they provide. The house is very clean, plenty of space and very well stocked. Not to mention the location is perfect; close to town, and such a beautiful setting on the lake. The owners really think of everything, and they sure were a pleasure to rent from. I definitely recommend this home for anyone looking for a great vacation in Maine!

The location is gorgeous and quiet. Expect to hear loons calling on the lake.
