John, a place that feels lovely from the moment you arrive is the best thing a stay can offer, and it sounds like yours did exactly that. The door is open whenever you want to come back.
Beautiful view but dirty windows would have made the view better.Needs air conditioning on 2nd floor. Thank you for providing fans.We enjoyed the outdoor space a lot. It was difficult to climb the steps up to the dock from the water. The steps down to the dock were rickety. We appreciated how easy it was to rent a boat. We loved the openness of the floor plan.
Incredible view of Lake Seneca. Great location, close to the restaurants and stores in Geneva. Not far from historic Seneca Falls, and surrounded by wineries and breweries. We had a great time. The place is enormous, plenty of room for our 6 adults. Nice patio and dock. The kayaks were fun (when the weather was cooperating). The property manager and owner are very responsive and very helpful. It was a wonderful time. A great place to stay.
We went to 3 Brothers Winery, just down the road, and (hopefully) bought a year's supply of wine, along with many other things. Ventosa is almost right next door, and that was fun and scenic. It's just such a beautiful area.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and we enjoyed the porch, fire pit, view, kayaks, kitchen and the extras (soaps, etc). The property managers were extremely helpful and accommodating. The stairs to the dock are not easy for children, elderly or people with any physical issues. Steep, old and splintery. The bedrooms were very nice. I don’t usually get too picky, but we all felt the bed sheets were extremely scratchy. The reason I’m not giving five stars is the AC upstairs is HORRIBLE. They have box fans but the temp was easily 15 degrees hotter upstairs than the downstairs with AC set to 72 degrees. The people staying upstairs were so uncomfortable all week. We had varying temperatures with our week mostly in the 70s, low 80s and it was still incredibly hot upstairs even during the night when temperatures were lower. We enjoyed our family vacation despite this but it really needs to be addressed.
