Hardwoods to die for in Great Room & Kitchen. Western lighting from Montana and a 2300 year old Sequoia Slab for photos. The neighborhood is safe and the yard is quite large. Go for a walk and enjoy views of Sand Knob in Casey County, and Green River Knob in Pulaski County. Green River Knob is the highest point East of the Appalachians in the Knobs Region of Kentucky. Bring your telescope for unobstructed viewing most nights. The WiFi is fast and reliable. Centrally located between Liberty, Somerset, Danville, and Russell Springs. 7 miles from the Ag Expo Center in Liberty, and Tarter Industries. Lake Cumberland, Herrington Lake and Lake Liberty are all nearby. The back deck has been refurbished and solar lighting installed. Set down and have a glass of wine or your favorite beverage and take in the scenery an peaceful surroundings.

Great place

Great house with plenty of space for our group. We loved being greeted by the cows across the road when we would return from our daily outings. House is quite aways from town so be prepared to drive. But that would not deter us from renting it again when in the area.

Hunter's paradise!

The bunkhouse was as advertised. It has a very spacious kitchen, dining and living room. We had a large group of hunters in and out. The amount of beds in the rooms allowed us to limit any issues with having clean beds. The house was clean, everything worked, hot water was plentiful with a huge tank. All and all, probably the best rental ever. Larry was prompt on returning messages. Thanks. Kentucky was beautiful...

Perfect for what we needed.

Property met our needs. Everything was great! Only thing I would change is the TV. Cumbersome with current applications. Would add you tube tv or something similar where you can pick network TV and ESPN for sports. . Or perhaps adding cable.

Great Getaway

Our large group had a great time during our stay at The Bunkhouse. Larry was very communicative and helpful during the booking process and our stay. The house is well-suited for wheelchair access and has a great kitchen perfect for making large meals.

Great place for a family gathering

The Bunkhouse is a great place to stay for multiple families. We had three families gathering for a holiday weekend, and our stay was very comfortable. There were more than enough beds and bathrooms for our stay. Our family includes one person in a motorized wheelchair. It's very hard to find a handicap accessible rental, and this was exactly what we needed to be able to include our entire family. Larry was a very responsive and helpful host, making sure we had everything we needed. He brought a high chair and made suggestions for local food. The area is quiet and remote, but there is a Dollar General about 5 minutes away, and a larger town about 20 minutes away. It's a beautiful area to get away. We would love to stay here again!

I grew up here. This property has views into the next county and is in one of the cleanest and safest neighborhoods in the county. The neighbors are all friendly and will wave at you when they go by, and will gladly talk to you. So throw your hand up to cars and wave hello.

The property has Live edge Redwood Counters, Western Cedar ceiling, Knotty Alder cabinetry, and a Sequoia Slab thats over 2100-2300 years old. The floor in the great room is real Birch hardwood.
