Great trip

  • 5 of 5

We love this area and the house was perfect. Great location if you're planning to do some kayaking on the Green River as the put in for the Upper and Lower sections are near by. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed!

great family spot

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a great time at the house. It had everything we needed. The kayaks and canoe were magic for our boys and they spent every minute on the lake exploring the waters and wildlife. Quiet and lovely setting. Carolina properties is top notch at answering any questions or concerns.

Charlotte, NC

House is terrific. Water access not so great.

  • 3 of 5

Unfortunately for us, the most important thing about a lake stay is the swimming and playing in the water. This cove was not very welcoming for us. The water was shallow and very brown. No visibility. I was also disappointed that there were no Sunfish for kids to catch around the dock. This is super unusual and a first for us of any of the NC lakes we've tried.

The house, however, was great. This place would be perfect for anyone who wants a quiet, comfortable stay, and who wants to spend time in kayaks, canoeing or on a pontoon boat.

Property management was helpful and responsive.

Wasn't a great fit for us, but will be for lots of people.

What a great getaway spot!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second trip to Lakefront Melody and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay both times. The house is very spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The cove the house is located in is very private and just beautiful. We look forward to returning in the future.

Perfect Family Retreat

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I shared Lakefront Melody with our son and his family during the Hurricane Matthew evacuation. We found it perfect for a family getaway and plan to return. Situated lakeside with a private dock, kayaks and canoe it was perfect for swimming, boating and fishing. The cabin was immaculately clean, well maintained and fully furnished for families. Of special note was the outstanding service provided by Carolina Properties before and during our stay. Valerie was a very proactive agent, seeing to every need and immediately responding to questions and concerns. Additionally she provided a wealth of information and advice on local attractions and events. All in all a great experience.
