Esta hermosa cabaña ubicada en las Montañas Humeantes es la casa de vacaciones perfecto y asequible para su familia. A sólo 5 minutos en coche de muchas de las mejores atracciones de Franklin. Estos incluyen la fábrica de la diversión, el Centro de la montaña ahumada para las artes escénicas, Minería Gem, antigüedades y mucho más! A sólo 10 minutos en coche del centro histórico de Franklin, a 20 minutos en coche de hermosas paisajes de conducción saltos de agua y con vistas a la montaña impresionantes! La cabina está completamente amueblada con muebles de madera auténtica y tiene dos plantas principales y un altillo. La planta principal tiene una cocina completa, donde se encuentra un cartón de huevos frescos de granja como nuestro regalo de bienvenida para usted, comedor, sala de estar, dormitorio y baño completo. El loft de arriba tiene una cama de matrimonio y baño completo con una estación de juego que es perfecto para los niños! El sótano terminado también tiene un dormitorio, cuarto de baño completo y una sala de estar equipada con un registro de un futón y un reproductor / DVD Blu-Ray con Netflix, Pandora y un completo sistema de sonido BOSE Surround. Ambas plantas tienen TV vía satélite y Wi-Fi. Fuera del sótano hay una bañera de hidromasaje muy bien mantenida. El aire acondicionado está disponible para los meses más cálidos, y calefacción de propano con una chimenea de gas en el sótano para los meses más fríos. En las noches más cálidas disfrutar del porche cubierto y un hermoso paisaje, y en las noches frías agarrar una manta y la abrazo por el fuego. Esta casa es verdaderamente un hogar. Refleja el calor y el amor y sabemos que se sentirá como en casa!

Awesome cabin!

Had a great stay, the cabin is exceptionally clean and has everything you need. The only concern was the steepness of the driveway. Several reviews said taking a motorcycle up was not a problem, however, would not recommend it. The communications with the owner was excellent. Would stay again just not with the bikes.

We rented this cabin to house part of our family who were coming to Franklin for a larger gathering. The layout worked well, giving everyone their own space while also providing a common area where we could enjoy time together. The owners were easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions.

Perfect Birthday Weekend Away

Came up for the weekend to take my kiddo tubing and on the Polar Express for his birthday. The cabin was beautiful and in a perfect location. It’s a peaceful place away from the noise. The driveway is a little steep but luckily we brought our truck, so had no problems. Definitely would come back and stay again in the future.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I stayed for a weekend and LOVED it. We are already planning to return. The cabin is beautiful and the floor plan is perfect for families or couples with friends. The cabin is 3 levels and has a bedroom and bathroom on each level. The gas fireplace and hot tub were big bonuses, as well as the large front porch. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Fantastic

Guys golf trip! Sky Valley was 20 minutes to the south. Sequoyah National was 35 minutes to the north. Could not ask for a more centrally located place to stay that is quiet….just a minute off the main road, and had all the amenities we needed! Thank you!

A convenient weekend stayover in Paradise, the mountains of North Carolina

I worked for two weeks in the area and over the weekend took a VRBO and had my son and family join me. We had a three day blast. It was so much fun. The Cabin was fabulous and the hosts were unobtrusive and very kind and helpful via phone and text. We will stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location and lots to see in the area, great for bikers.

Five Star home in a super quiet location. The home is set up great and would be ideal for three couples. Not far from restaurants and grocery stores. Nice and quiet location with a great deck....I would stay at this property again. We came on motorcycles and had not problems with the incline of the driveway.

Property was clean, and comfortable. Plenty of room for whole family. only negatives was steep driveway and patio door would not open from outside. Could go around to front door easily though.

Outstanding cabin home & close to everything!

Beautiful and clean cabin- looking forward to our return visit. The only downside is the steep driveway especially after a rain... but it’s a cabin in the mountains after all! Bring extra trash bags, paper towels & coffee if you have an extended stay. Kids loved chasing the lightening bugs every night!

Guys motorcycle trip

A last minute opportunity came for a short getaway to ride in the mountains. Our group chose to stay in the mountains of Georgia and do day rides into the Carolinas and Tennessee. I found this mountain cabin on VRBO, and after verifying with the owner that it was motorcycle accessible I was able to secure it for our stay. The accommodations were perfect for our group. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Mountain Home

Everything about this property is fabulous! It's located centrally for access to so many different activities and still offers a great deal of privacy for a full mountain getaway experience. The owners had all three levels decorated for Christmas and it was absolutely gorgeous. They obviously take great pride in this home and it shows. You will not regret making it your choice for your next vacation in North Carolina. We would not hesistate to book here again.

A Perfect Family Retreat in the Smoky Mountains

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this beautiful log cabin in the Smoky Mountains.The location couldn't be better—just a short 5-minute drive to Franklin and a 20 minute drive to gorgeous waterfalls and stunning mountain views!The cabin exudes charm and coziness.It has everything you could need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room.The bedrooms are spacious, and the overhead loft with its own full bathroom is ideal for kids or guests who don't require extra privacy.The finished basement was a hit with our family; it features a bedroom, piano, living room with a log futon.Both floors are equipped with Satellite TV and Wi-Fi, which kept everyone entertained throughout our stay.One of our favorite features was the hot tub outside the basement—it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.We also appreciated the air conditioning and loved the fireplace This cabin truly felt like a home away from home. We felt immediately at ease. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories in this lovely vacation home.

Great Cabin!

We enjoyed the cabin! My only complaint is that we had to call to get the access code. It never updated in the VRBO system. I did eventually receive an email from the owner with the access code, but that was the day after we checked in. I'm not sure if that was a system error or what. We will definitely stay here again.

Great house, good AC & location

Our first vacation in 4 years & we were very pleased with this house. AC is much needed in this area during summer days & the central air system was fabulous. Though just two of us (seniors), we really liked the spacious nature of the house. Having a bedroom and bathroom on each floor was super.We enjoyed having coffee & reading on the tranquil, covered back deck.The porch furniture was quite comfy, the gas grill worked well. We enjoyed how secluded it felt, even though it was really close to everything. We were VRBO hosts in western NC for decades, but this was our first time as a VRBO guest.There are definite shortcomings in the VRBO system for guests. VRBO gave us wrong info. Be sure to contact the host directly via email with any questions regarding the house or check in. If you plan on cooking a lot or entertaining during your visit, be sure to ask the host in advance about kitchen items/supplies that you'll be needing. Prior renters obviously put items away dirty (only reason we gave a 4 instead of 5). It's great in this area to have a paved driveway, especially when the drive is so steep. We kicked our vehicle into low gear when on the inclines & had no issues. In icy conditions, we'd definitely want all wheel or 4 wheel drive. The hot tub is located on a lower level.The entry to the tub is a set of wooden stairs that made it super awkward for us to enter or exit, so we devised a "Plan B", entering on the opposite side of the tub that worked better!

Horrible and cheat Property owner. DO NOT RISK YOUR LIFE.

We had a horrible experience at this property. The AC wasn't working and the property owner didn't share the fact. The basement was very hot, not able to sleep due to sweat. When we contacted the property owner at 7:00 pm (as we felt it was 80+ degree in basement) on day of checkin, he didn't respond until 9:15pm. He asked us to prove our claim that the property is very hot by sending pictures of thermostat which we did. All of sudden at 10:10pm there was loud knock on the front door without any prior notice. Property owner never gave any heads up about anyone going to visit and it scared the hell out of our kids. This is a lonely property up the hill with no neighbours and its dark outside. There were 2 people outside the door which pushed their way in the house as soon as I unlocked to the door who they were. Our kids we very scared with someone knocking on the door when we expected none. The strangers did the inspection and said it may rain in a bit, which will bring down the temp and hence basement will get cooler. When I emailed property owner not to send anyone without prior notice, he responded that as per agreement, it okay to inspect the property by complete strangers at 10:10pm without any heads up. SERIOUSLY? I had no way of knowing who forced their way into the house for inspection. Property owner is very harsh and crooked. He knew that we have no options being the busy part of the year, he tried to kick us out at 11pm because we were complaining but answering to my email. It a lone house with a very weird driveway. The driveway is tricky and I think that the reason the details/photos are missing in the listing. With 4 frightened kids, there was nothing we could do that night, so we all got together on main floor to sleep. Next day we got out an tried to find another place to stay but every place was full being busy part of the year. This was like one of those scary movies where you are staying at a lonely house on a hill with no neighbors and strangers visit you followed by ......... I would highly recommend STAY AWAY from this unsafe property and the owner who thinks that its okay for any stranger to visit at 10:10pm as per agreement. The whole experience left a scar on our memory and ruined our vacations. We went to explore the Smokies but horrible experience.

Base Camp for Smokey Mtn Ride

Nice property for a short or long stay. We used it as a base camp for a 3-day motorcycle ride throughout the Smokey Mtns. Three floors with a bedroom and bath on each is perfect for 3 couples, or 3 friends. Hot tub is a nice bonus. Note that the driveway is fairly steep and had a flat gravel section, but it wasn't a problem for us. Would rent again.

This home was built as our primary residence, but circumstances have caused us to move away temporarily. We built this home ourselves and decorated it for us to live in. With that being said, this home has many personal touches of a resident of WNC that was born and raised just down the road from the cabin. We are excited to share the beauty of Franklin, NC with our guests and assist you in any way to make this a memorable stay.

Our property is in a quiet location, close to town and many attractions. We have a large hot tub and a surround sound system. The community down the mountain from our home is a peaceful area that is enjoyable to roam.
