Have you ever stayed in a real log cabin? This is the place! High on a mountain top at 4,000 ft. elevation; breath-taking view of the mountains. Will comfortably sleep six people. Queen size bed in master on first floor, loft with queen size bed. Sofa bed with new mattress that will easily sleep 2. Large real wood burning fireplace for cozing up on those chilly evenings and mornings. Early riser? Get up and have your coffee in a rocking chair under covered porch and enjoy a spectacular sunrise, birds and other wildlife. Traveling with man’s or woman’s best friend? We love your pets as much as you do and are pet friendly. Enjoy a glass of wine and relish in the magnificent afternoon sunsets. Open deck with a family-size picnic table, a gas grill for those tasty cookouts. A gazebo with relaxing hot tub for 4 overlooking a beautiful view of the mountains and sensacional sunsets. Step outside in the evenings to take in the view of the dazzling stars above. You may even see a shooting star or two! Thinking of proposing to your significant other? Our cabin has been host to many proposals over the years. The cabin is equipped with brand new appliances. As of 2017 there are brand new washer, dryer, stove and oven. Brand new Refrigerator 2024. New flatscreen smart TV (2026) and satellite internet (July 2026) All mattresses were replaced in 2022. Linens, blankets and towels are purchased and replaced regularly. As of July 2026 brand new air conditioning and heating.

A Must! Absolutely best cabin ever. Great location up on the mountain. This house has the most breathtaking views I have seen. Watching the sunrise was an unforgettable experience.We watched the moon rise and the sunset truly remarkable. Everything you need is at the cabin, sheets, towels, blankets, hairdryer, even spices. If you love quiet, private and beautiful views this cabin is for you. It’s a definite bucket list item.

We rented this cabin for an anniversary trip to get away from a busy daily life. It was absolute perfection. You are most definitely at the top of the mountain and everything was so quiet and peaceful. Would most definitely recommend!

That is my dream Wood log house, fireplace, deck, water well, jacuzzi, parking space… The Mountain View is nice. But could be better and much wider, if removed some trees on left and right side of it. The bedroom upstairs is not easy to reach because of steep spiral entrance. Solution for this was reclining couch downstairs. Overall family and dog are very happy. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We truly enjoyed our time. The view from the deck was beautiful and so relaxing. The road up is narrow. We drove our Jeep since we saw others comment about the drive up to the cabin. It worked perfectly since there was quite a bit of rain during our stay. We will definitely keep this one on our list for a return trip!

The privacy of this cabin was excellent. The drive up to the cabin was a piece of cake in a Hyundai Tucson. The hot tub was very refreshing after a day of hiking.

This was our fourth stay at Mammy’s. We absolutely love visiting here. We love the rustic feel of the cabin, the breathtaking views and the relaxing atmosphere. The hot tub is definitely clean & hygienic. The cabin comes with everything you need to be comfortable, even if you forget a little something. Most of the pictures are accurate but the view pictures should be updated as all the trees have grown up so much, that the view they advertise is mostly blocked, it is still a pretty view. The cabin itself pictures are acurate & we definitely enjoyed our stay.

We chose this spot to escape the late July heat in south Georgia, and it did not disappoint! The cabin has great air circulation and AC if needed. We dined out on the deck, took long walks with the dog down and back up the steep mountain road, and hiked on trails near Franklin. The Lazy Hiker Brewing Company is a cool place to raise a pint.
