Guestbook comments from the owner

All our needs were met and more! This cute and quaint little cottage was perfect after a long day driving. Our only regret was not staying longer as it was perfectly set-up for a weekend or week retreat. The little kitchenette had everything we would need and the cottage was well laid out, open and sunny. The cottage is located amongst what appeared to be many summer homes and retreats. Walking around the neighborhoods brought many friendly encounters and this was all within walking distance to Lake Erie.

Awesome!!!!!

Very clean and organized. Dan goes out of his way to make your visit a positive experience.. When I arrived there were fresh flowers and classical music playing. This was far better than staying in a hotel.I definitly would stay here again!

Thanks Dan for allowing me to stay at your quaint cabin in the woods.

Great little cottage to get away from it all

  • 5 of 5

The photos lay out a very accurate view of the space, so we knew exactly what to expect. Everything was very clean and the owner was good about communicating with us prior to our arrival to make sure we could find it and get in when we got there. He also checked in the next day to see if we needed anything. There is quite a lot of information about the local area in the cabin. Having a washer and dryer there was a great bonus! We didn't do a lot of cooking, but the kitchen had all of the basic tools needed to do so.

It was a great quiet place to stay to visit Buffalo without having to stay in the city. It's an easy drive to Niagara and Canada. There were some nice parks along the lake between the cabin and Buffalo for walking and cycling and just sitting by the lake.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect. It could not be more charming. We wanted a place to stay in order to visit Niagara Falls for New Years and we could not have stumbled upon anything better. Dan ensures you have a wonderful visit and are never without. This studio home is ideal for a romantic couple's getaway. We will definitely be returning. The location near Lake Erie would be tremendous during summer months. We were able to bask in the warmth of the gas fireplace with the snow falling outside. It was a romantic, weekend escape. We went to the lake, had a day at Niagara, and enjoyed the local food- all from this convenient location.

Thank you Dan for a wonderful visit! We cannot wait to return.
