This beach house was perfect for our family of 6. It's a charming, clean and fully furnished home. The area is quiet, beautiful view, close to the beach and has plenty of living and eating spaces inside and out. We would stay here again!

Wonderful Maine Cottage

Belfast Beach House is a wonderful cottage overlooking Belfast Bay. The house is perfect, with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Easy communication with owner. Minutes from the town of Belfast, with shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Great stay in Belfast Maine

We thoroughly enjoined our stay at the Belfast Beach House! What a cozy and well appointed place. We had everything we needed including a beautiful water view. The owners were wonderful as well, checking in on us and being available if needed. We will certainly be back!

We highly recommend this adorable cottage. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation stay. The views are spectacular and area is peaceful. The communication with the owners was top notch as well.

Beach House getaway

We had a wonderful time at the beach house. Everything we could have needed was provided by our hosts. The cottage was very comfortable, cozy and bright and the views were fantastic. We were centrally located for excursions, dining and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thoroughly good stay

Quiet with a great view of Belfast Bay where you can watch seals while sipping your coffee. This place is well stocked with cooking equipment, games, books and instructions. The only issue was the owner seemed reluctant to hand over the key code until we were standing on the front porch…

Beautiful Belfast Bay

Loved being in this cottage with its views and close access to the water, not to mention Belfast and points north (Acadia, Castine, Blue Hill, Deer Isle) and south (Cambden,Rockland etc) Jeff and Abby are great and thoughtful hosts and thought of so many extra touches to include for the comfort of their guests. Three cheers!

Just Perfect!

The Belfast Beach House was perfect in every way. The location is great as a jumping off point to explore mid-coast Maine. The house was immaculate and you can see the owners are proud of their gem. Wonderful home

Thank you for providing your wonderful home for our Maine vacation. The house was perfect with everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing vacation. We spent most nights hunting for sea life with my 2 boys at the beach. Just a short drive to town with a nice organic market and great shops. Young's Lobster pound was our favorite dining destination....Just Awesome! It was also very conveniently located to allow us easy rides to Acadia & Bar Harbor. Thanks again for a great vacation stay!

Perfect quiet destination

Fully equipped very nice property with a beautiful view. Everything was as specified or better. No bad surprises. Quiet environment. The hosts were very easy to reach, collaborative and very helpful… always willing to add the extra little attention that makes the difference between ordinary and extraordinary. Only good words.

Great Maine Retreat!

Thank you so much Jeff and Abby for fitting us in the schedule and saving our Maine vacation. We loved your place! From the Rocky coastline in front of the cottage to the great decorating inside, it was all that we had hoped for! We loved how CLEAN and FULLY EQUIPPED it was! It really made things easy on us and fun to play all the games you had on hand. Jeff was very assessable before, during and after our trip and very easy to communicate with. We also promptly received our security deposit back. We highly recommend the Belfast Beach House!

Clean, neat, welcoming and very relaxing

We recently spent the week at the BBH and it had all of the amenities of home and then some. We enjoyed the household comforts and beautiful surrounding scenery the location offers right on the Bay, The home is centrally located in Belfast and was a short trip into town for dining, shopping and a fitness center .25 miles down the road. The home was quite, clean and very nicely decorated. We in the end didn't need to bring that much with us as everything from a top of the line coffee maker, appliances and kitchenware was fully available. It's a great place to go and get away from it all in comfort and we look forward to a future, return stay. Steve & Tracy Herzog

Awesome place with terrific owners!

Thank you Jeff and Abby for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was spotless and so well equipped! The view is amazing and the kids loved going to the beach and finding crabs, starfish, and even a couple of sand dollars! It was perfect for location as it was close to whale watching and Acadia National Park. Our family is already talking about another visit to Maine. You know it is a great vacation when your son cries that he doesn't want to go home as he will miss your place so much. You were truly a joy to work with before, during and after our stay. Your responsiveness was appreciated. Thank you again for sharing your gem of a home with us!

Lovely location and cottage

The property is on a small circle drive with about a dozen cottages. This one is on the inner circle with a huge green space behind it for kids to play. It is also only a short walk to steps leading to the water. The kids loved exploring during low tide and skipping rocks during high tide. They played soccer out back and there were plenty of board games at the house to keep everyone entertained on a rainy afternoon. The kitchen is nicely equipped and there is plenty of space to cook, eat, and have a game going at the same time. The house is close to downtown Belfast, which makes for a great outing. You can even park by the footbridge and walk into town across it. This is a wonderful spot and we would come back again.

Wonderful vacation!

My brother, sister and our three spouses enjoy sharing a week’s vacation together each summer and chose Belfast Beach House as our location this year. We had seen the pictures and read the reviews about stunning view and amply supplied house, but really until you arrive you cannot imagine how wonderful this place really is. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms amply supplied with plush, thick towels. The kitchen had every appliance, utensil, pot and gadget you might need for preparing your meals. The view from the long dining room table of the bay was breathtaking! We are avid game players and we spent our evenings gathered around this table enjoying one of the many games the hosts had provided as well as some of our own. This location allowed us to travel to Acadia National Park (about 1 ½ hours away) for a day visit as well as to go on a whale watch out of Lubec, ME (about 3 hours away). Just ½ mile away is a state park with nice trails to get some exercise. Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland features an extensive Andrew and N.C. Wyeth collection. And the Lobster Pound just up the road offers a great selection of seafood at reasonable prices. Our family thinks this was one of our very best vacations ever and we highly recommend this place.

Wonderful place!

We had a lovely experience at the Beach House. The host communicated well with us, the amenities and condition of the house were exactly as described, and it was all in perfect order. Couldn't ask for more. Hope to go back again sometime.
