If there had been a verified habitability issue, we would have immediately addressed it or relocated you. Regarding the refund: the reservation was booked under a clearly disclosed non-refundable policy, which was acknowledged at the time of booking. As a courtesy—not an obligation—we informed you that if the unit was vacated immediately and before the check-in window progressed, we would review the situation. However, once the stay had commenced and the property was held off-market for the night, the policy applied as stated. We absolutely understand the frustration of last-minute travel challenges, but we do not operate scams, nor do we benefit from guest dissatisfaction.
