Esta hermosa casa bien cuidada y espaciosa frente al mar de dos pisos junto a la bahía es una casa de alquiler perfecta para usted y su familia. La casa tiene tres dormitorios y tres baños, 2/2 arriba y 1/1 abajo. La gran sala expansiva (22 pies. X 38 pies), que incluye la cocina, el comedor, la sala de estar y la sala de estar con televisión de alta definición de 60 pulgadas con vista a las vistas abiertas de Hurricane Creek, haciendo que entretener o simplemente enfriar algo para recordar. Great Property

This property is great! Very clean and provides all the necessities to feel right at home. Home owner is very responsive to any questions that may arise. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing Keys vacation.

Vacation 2021

Property has great boat dockage. We enjoyed the manatees when we could spot them from the beautiful view from kitchen. Everything we needed was there for our use. The paddle boards need some repair as they held too much water. Great place to rent!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Rick was awesome and informative about the house. We enjoyed the back yard and the dock almost every night. The views from the house are incredible. Rick has it set up for any fisherman to step right in and hit the water. The location is perfect. Can’t wait to go back!!

Great Home

There is so much to say about this home and how comfortable we felt . It is obvious the owner pays attention to detail . I packed for a months stay in this Covid environment and quickly realized I over packed ! The home had all the extras , from rice cooker to bait freezer to bait and fish trash . The owner thought of everything and was responsive but not intrusive . Just plain respectful and you can tell they want you to enjoy your stay . There were three of us and two dogs most of the time and the property afforded extra space. We were there during the holiday and they had left a festive table cloth and Christmas flowers. Notes how to operate or find everything ! Clean and comfortable home with many upgrades but still the old Keys charm . Our boat fit perfect at the dock and easy access to ocean . We will be back !

Best vacation ever perfect set up for fisherman

We had such a great time staying here. Rick was great to work with and answer any questions. The house has a well stocked kitchen we definitely over packed our cooking supplies. The dinning room table has the best view to eat dinner and just relax. We brought our boat down and the location cannot be beat Channel 2 bridge to go out to the reef or hit the back country. All the hoses and power hook ups make it easy to clean the boat and charge boat batteries. The fish cleaning table was in the shade when getting back was great. Freezer for bait a great set up for fisherman. Beautiful backyard house and location we had the best time on vacation and hope to return in the future. Thanks again Rick for your hospitality.

Delightful -Roomy -What a view!

The owner is wonderful to work with. Accommodations were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need for even a month stay. Outside, the dock was wonderful to sit on in the morning afternoon or evening and watch Manatee go by, some small sharks, large tarpon and fish galore. And when the new underwater dock light illuminates in the evening it sets up a whole new viewing experience under the water! Fantastic! Plenty of outdoor seating for everyone on the Adirondack chairs. There is a large tackle room on the main level to store your fishing equipment in between trips. Large dock space to tie up your own boat as well. We are planning to return next year! Thank you again for the hospitality!

Wonderful home on the bay side in Lower Matacumbe

We loved the Palma’s home in the Florida Keys. They were lovely people to rent from and were always available to us. Their home was furnished and equiped with everything one would need. The house was very clean and well maintained. We loved the view of the water from upstairs and the dock area where we kept our boat. You could be in the bay in minutes and easy access to the Atlantic quickly via Number 2 and 5 bridges. Manatees and dolphins were swimming right in front of the dock. A very relaxing, beautiful Keys retreat.

Exceeded all expectations

This family friendly home was exactly as described and more. Rick met us and showed us around and had even decorated the home for Christmas. It was clean and well suited for our fishing family. We had two boats and the dockage was more than amble. The location was great with easy access to fishing, restaurants and snorkeling. I would recommend this property to anyone wishing for a relaxing, beautiful getaway. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Dream house by the sea.

Dream house by the sea. We did rent Ricks nice house for two weeks. Its a really nice and clean house with everything you will need. The location was perfect for fishing, we did rent a 30"boat that we easly could park in the nice dockage outside the house. its easy to clean the boat from the dockage with the near by water discharge, we did also use the fishing cleaning table which was really nice. Its close to a bait shop and also marina/gas station. There are also many nice resturants around islamorada just a short drive with car or boat. Overall we are more than satisfied, and Rick and his wife are very nice people! Se u again! Mr Nikas with friends.

home away from home is an understatement!

This was our first experience with home away! No worries, the description of of this home's location and amenities and well maintained features were not just accurate but underplayed in our opinion. The owner met us upon arrival, he was so pleasant and showed us all of the details of fans,AC system, stove and washer dryer. Also gave us some great information for dining, kayak rentals, grocery shopping. He couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome in his beautiful vacation home. We enjoyed every single moment and did not wish to leave. What I loved the most, and there were many things there that I loved, was waking up every morning,opening the expansive windows overlooking Hurricane Creek and sipping coffee while the fisherman were netting their bait. Can't wait for next year! We are so greatful for our time there"

We had a wonderful time!

We recently stayed at this property for a week and we truly had a wonderful time. It was a much needed vacation away from the daily rush. We are fans of the Florida keys and Islamorada is by far our favorite one. We have stayed in many different rental properties in the area however none have met our expectations like this one. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. We were given a lot of information about the place itself as well as surrounding areas which was very helpful. The homeowner really makes you feel welcomed and he is readily available with any questions you may have. We were looking for a place to unwind and fish and this house provides the perfect setting for that, all you have to do is walk out to the back yard and cast your rod and enjoy the day. We rarely felt the need to go out. Our children really enjoyed it as well. We even saw a manatee and a pair of Dolphins all while sitting out back. The amenities provided met all our expectations and we were even able to paddle board which my son enjoyed. We went in March of this year and are already thinking of when we can make time to return. Great place for families & the serious fisherman

What a lovely house! This is our 14th year going to Islamorada (Lower Matecumbe) area. We'd been renting the same place for years but the owners were using it. Finding a new place was a bit daunting! The house is on a pie-shaped lot, so the front of the house appears small but the gates open up to a huge back patio & yard area. There are several little seating areas, 2 big tables w/chairs & a couple of chaises. The dockage was very generous; we had our 27ft. Contender & 18ft. flats boat with plenty of room. There is everything you could want to make your fishing easy; electricity & water to the dock, a fish cleaning table in the shade and a storage room for your goodies with an extra refrigerator. The downstairs bedroom is perfect for teenagers. Laundry room downstairs as well with a large washer & dryer. Upstairs is a beautiful, comfortable living room & a big breakfast bar. There is a nice dining area plus little seating area that overlook the canal. All you need is right in the kitchen so you cook your catch. I usually cook every night & it was a pleasure. The bedrooms are on the smaller side, but plenty of room to put away your clothing, big closets & very comfortable beds. Master bath was lovely with a big whirlpool tub. There were plenty of towels & linens & all the incidentals were supplied- toilet tissue, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. There were also 2 paddle boards, which everyone used & really enjoyed. The view of the sunset from the dock was great. We had an older lady with us who spent much of her time sitting by the big windows, reading & watching the boats go by. She loved it. There is a nice shallow water/beach area nearby where people pull their boats up & swim; it's great for kids. There are 2 places nearby for boat gas & a hardware store & Habanos restaurant w/i walking distance. The owner, Rick, met my husband there upon arrival to answer any questions & explain where everything was. He was very nice & a great host. We had a great time & hope to return next year!

One of the best vacations ever!

My family truly loved our vacation here. Rick and his wife were so nice to meet us at the house when we arrived and show us everything it had to offer. We had a great time swimming and paddle boarding right behind the house. We had several manatee visit us during our stay which was awesome! The house is beautiful, very clean and well kept. It had everything we needed. It was centrally located to explore the rest of the Keys and it had easy access to the ocean side of the Keys with the boat we rented. This is one of the best properties we have ever rented on VRBO. We hope to be back soon. Thanks again Rick!

A Home Away From Home

We recently stayed at Casa de Palma for a month and it was absolute paradise. The home was immaculate and provided us with everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect for boating, fishing, snorkeling and beaching. The owner was very helpful and accomodating.He immediately mailed us the shoes that we forgot, along with an all-important Power Rangers watch! While there, we made excellent use of the split plan. There is a full bedroom, bathroom and refrigerator downstairs, which is easily accesible from the house, but could be completely separate. The upstairs was a complete home away from home. It was kid friendly, but elegantly decorated and appointed. While there, we were able to swim and paddle board in the canal and fish right off the sea wall every day. We were visited by a manatee (twice), saw barracuda, tarpon, sharks, lobster and an eel. The sunset at the end of the canal was absolutely gorgeous. All in all, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a tropical paradise that is a home away from home.

Paradise in Paradise

We had a fabulous vacation at this home this year. Everything you could want in a relaxing vacation at the keys in Florida. House had plenty of room for 6 of us to be very comfortable. Lots of space in the yard to enjoy the sun and water all day! Everything was clean and well maintained. Our owner met us there when we checked in to show us around and help us get acquainted with the house and all of the amenities the house has to offer which were plenty. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Perfect place to spend the Holidays!

Our family met here in Islamorada and spent a month here over the Holidays! The house was perfect for us, 8 adults ranging in age from 24-78. The owners met us when we arrived, gave us all the operational instructions and recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Lazy Days is a must for dining and the yellowtail snapper prepared any way was excellent! Also had the best grouper sandwich at Wahoo's! The owner's had even put up a small Christmas tree and decorations for us. The panoramic windows opened all across the back of the house and the views were great! We saw dolphins several times swimming in the canal out front. Most entertaining were the manatees that swam right up to the dock, mother and calf. They were very social and stayed with us for awhile. They are illegal to touch or feed but so fun to see up close. Definitely a highlight. The house was a short walk from Anne's Beach and a bridge where our sons enjoyed fishing. They also caught snapper, catfish, grunts and a few puffer fish right off the dock out front. We rented a kayak one day at Robbie's Marina. We were able to take them into the mangrove canopies but we didn't see much sealife back there. It was low tide so we couldn't go out to the ocean so I would recommend going during high tide so you could see more. Robbie's also has large Tarpons you can feed from the docks for $3 for a bucket of fish. We went 2 fishing charters also. One in the back waters where we caught a 7 ft tiger shark, which was exciting. Also an ocean charter just past the reef. Caught some snapper, mackerel, triggerfish. It was rough waters! I would recommend Islamorada and this lovely home for anyone who likes the adventure of the sea and the quiet and relaxation of living on the water. This house has a lot of amenities and a great 60" TV that really made watching the NFL playoffs very enjoyable!
