Great place, quiet neighborhood. Our small group loved hanging out on the back porch at the end of a long night at the film festival and watching the storms over the creek. Would highly recommend both the host and the house!
The house was perfect for our group! It was easy to get downtown. Great decor! Very clean and it had a lot of items that were useful during our stay.
Sally was very thoughtful and had a welcoming gift for us in each unit.

Absolutely brilliant location for cousin meet up weekend in Austin. We came from the London, California, Texas and Chicago,to be together and had an lovely time at the Big Zilker House(s), There was so much to do within walking distance, including Barton Springs Pool, TownLake Trail, Barton Creek Greenbelt, Umlaf Gardens, Zilker Botanical Gardens, Alamo Drafthouse (movies, bowling and karaoke) Loads of Restaurants and Food Trailers.
The house is well decorated, well maintained and has great amenities. The neighborhood is one that anyone would love to live in, and certainly vacation in. We felt super lucky to reserve this property and highly recommend it to all.
Beautifully designed home. We stayed here with our large family for Thanksgiving. We loved the open area upstairs- so unique and all the big windows and the tree's that line the creek. The location can not be beat. It's close to everything and offers something for everyone, weather you are a exercise junkie or a food, beer or wine connoisseur you will be please with the location!

We had a large group of 11 and the home never felt crowded or cramped, there was plenty of room and common space for everyone!
We loved all of the private tree-lined balcony's and patios that backed up to a creek. Sally (The property owner) has great communication and answered all of our question for a very easy seamless arrival. The house is in such a great location! I would absolutely recommend this house and stay again!
This was the perfect property for our group. We had 5 couples meeting up in Austin for a week of fun. The property was great, as you are really getting 2 houses for the price of 1. The late nighters took one house and those that wanted to get to bed early took the other house. It was so nice!
The entire property is beautiful and comfortable, with many nice touches that made us feel right at home. The location is excellent and close to everything! Its a wonderful place to stay and enjoy Austin!
We were very happy with the decor, cleanliness and location of the "Big Zilker" for a family get-together with all of us coming together from various states. Everyone commented on how nice the accommodations and amenities were. The bedding and linens were very nice and plenty of towels provided. Having two kitchens and two living rooms was very handy for our group (the location is a duplex and is not joined on the interior). The location is a short walk from Barton Springs/Zilker park and just a few minutes drive from downtown, SOCO and the food trailers. Also very close to Mopac for farther travels. Sally was prompt on communications. We definitely recommend this property.
