Catherine House: A charming Old Town Key West cottage

This charming Key West style cottage is just a short walk to a selection of great restaurants, art galleries, and shopping. Catherine House is located only ½ block from the quieter end of Duval Street, and better yet, just three blocks to a beach (Duval & South Streets). The house can comfortably sleep four and offers a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, two full baths, and a small pool. There is a washer and dryer located in a shed behind the house. A covered front porch offers a pleasant option for morning coffee or a relaxing evening cocktail. The high ceiling, open style living and dining area has comfortable seating, satellite TV, high speed wireless, a dining table for four and French doors opening to the patio/pool area. The two bedrooms offer adjoining baths, king beds, flat screen TVs, and individually controlled AC. Pleasing tropical interior décor, enhanced with local artwork, creates an inviting ambiance which makes this delightful cottage a comfortable vacation hideaway in a terrific location for all that Key West offers.

Parking: There is free parking is along Catherine & Louisa Streets. If you cannot find a space, guest may also park at the Gato Government Building (free) from Mon - Fri after 5pm until 8am, and all day and overnight Saturdays & Sundays. Catherine House was the perfect spot for our Key West trip. It was close to everything but quiet. The house had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable and the house is well maintained and clean. The pool is small but perfect for a cocktail in the afternoon after exploring Key West. The yard is shaded pretty much all day which is really nice. We would definitely stay here again.

This rental was awesome! Great location, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, but enough away from the major party areas for peace and quiet. The rental was exactly as described on the listing. We did have a couple small issues which the maintenance man came to fix within an hour of notifying the host. The pool is SMALL but it didn’t matter- our girls still loved it and it was refreshing after a long hot day. Having a washer and dryer was very convenient so we could wash beach towels and bathing suits each day. So many things provided- extra blankets, towels, anything you could need to cook, coffee, some seasonings, fully stocked to set you up for a great stay.

Great house, great location

We really enjoyed staying here. Great house with everything you need in a great location near the southern tip of Duval. Can get anywhere up and down Duval in no more than 10-15 minutes. The house was a perfect fit - great vibe to it, would stay there again.

New Years on Duval

The property was exquisite and the location was perfect! Parking was not an issue and we found a place to park a golf cart on the property which was very convenient. I highly recommend renting this place if you are visiting Key West.

Anniversary Vacation

We stayed at the Catherine House during our anniversary vacation with friends. Great house for 4 people, two bedrooms with two baths made life so much easier! Private patio and pool were great. The house was within walking distance to many great restaurants. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic everything!

In addition to the location, this house had everything we needed. The pool and outdoor shower were perfect for retreating during the heat of the day. Highly recommend.

Cute cottage

Cute cottage and great location. Beaches were a few blocks away and you are practically on Duval street, the quiet end. The cottage was perfect for 4 adults. We had plenty of room and never felt like we were on top of each other. We will be staying here again!
