Excellent location on the beach

Very well stocked condo with plenty of room for the family. Everything needed for the kitchen, plenty of blankets pillows etc. for sleeping comfortably. Only thing I would’ve appreciated having is beach towels. Nice quiet complex with a warm pool and steps to the beach!

Great location, but many issues with cleaning and maintenance

First the positives: Great location beachfront, beautiful view from the screened in porch, steps from the pool and the beach with fantastic sunsets every night, plenty of parking. Recently remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Negatives: (Summary for those who don't want to read the details - Royal Shell was responsive but required excessive followup on our part. Poor cleaning, no A/C, unprofessional HVAC company and the bed issues made for a terrible first impression that could not be overcome, and the issues with lack of heat in 42 degree weather was the final straw that made us decide not to return to this unit). 1. The unit was not properly cleaned prior to us arriving a)We found a pill on the bedsheets that was not ours on the first night, indicating that the sheets weren't changed prior to our arrival. b) The mattress was broken down and squeaked terribly every time someone rolled over - Royal Shell did send over a mattress topper which helped somewhat, they also confirmed the bedframe was broken and should be replaced c) Someone had turned off the dishwasher prior to the cycle being complete - we had standing dirty water and unclean dishes to deal with on our arrival 2. Air Conditioning and heating a) On our arrival, the unit was at 78 degrees and the A/C was not working. We had to call Royal Shell on a Sunday - they did come out and the technician from "Captain Cold Cooling" informed me he "Sprinkled some magic Disney dusy" and fixed the unit.... not professional but it was fixed. b) Heating - 7 days later, the temperature dropped to 42 degrees and it was 60 degrees in our unit - the heat would not come on. Again called Royal Shell and they had to call the "experts" at Captain Cold, and they showed up while we were gone, got the fan running but still no heat! The condo was at 62 degrees. We had to call AGAIN and have them come back out. This time we were in the unit, and they "fixed" something and the heat came on. Royal Shell called to follow up and make sure the heat was on, and told me that Captain Cold said "they found nothing wrong" on their second visit. Again, VERY unprofessional.

Second time was just a good.

The room was clean and comfortable for my family. Close proximity to great restaurants, small shops and grocery stores. The pool area was well kept.

View and location is wonderful

Great location check in and out fast. Pool nice. Only issue for me was beds were hard so therefore sleeping was not easy. Everything else was terrific

Fun Week

We truly loved our week in your darling condo. However, only a few things to point out: the blinds in the MasterBdrm did not work properly so we never were able to open them. the carpet has carpet tacks between the kitchen/living area and I was unlucky to step on one bare-footed. the carpet looks a bit worn & we thought it would be so much easier to maintain with tile throughout and area rugs. At any rate, we would definitely rent again and enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
