RoofShack Folly Beach

Lo llamamos el RATHERSHACK porque preferiría estar aquí que en cualquier otro lugar en el mundo. Somos 'segunda fila' de la playa - lo que significa un 45 segundos a pie para usted empuja lentos, o 30 segundos para que el bum media playa. La cabaña 'nos estamos publicidad y la programación de aquí es el baño 2 BR 1, el otro listado es el # 3478178. Súper limpio sin alérgenos caspa de las mascotas, etc, ya que no se permiten mascotas. Esta Unidad cuenta con TV por cable y, WIFI. Estacionamiento para 1 vehículos incluidos. . Parrilla de gas en el lugar disponible para que la parrilla maestros por ahí. Montar en bicicleta es una de nuestras actividades favoritas alrededor por aquí, y mirar todas las cabañas de azúcar, casas moderados y muelles de pesca caseras plopped justo al lado del McMansion ocasional. Variedad arquitectónica en cada cuadra. Folly Beach no juzga quién eres o de dónde vienes ... solo trae tus chanclas y ven como eres.

Exceedingly comfortable

Chic, cozy, well appointed. Comfy beds. Katt was awesome— in touch, accommodating and generous. Great beaches, bars and restaurants, and riding bikes (Folly Beach Adventures delivers and picks up!) around the island was an absolute delight. A recent storm had knocked down fencing and the outdoor shower— work was quickly done while we were there during unobtrusive hours.

We had a wonderful stay.. the host had thought of everything and was in touch with us while we were there. The house was wonderful and in a great location. Everything listed online was accurate. We enjoyed our visit!

Great location, only 2 blocks to ocean! Unit was just as promised and had everything we needed. It was humid outside and the air conditioning worked wonderfully! Would highly recommend this beautiful rental.

Perfect location!

What a fantastic find! Our stay was perfect, and the place was very clean, well equipped, and just a block from the beach! We had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our stay. My husband and I travel frequently and we really appreciated all of the extra amenities, especially the hooks in the bathroom and the extra towels. We will definitely be back!

Good space, great location!

The house was comfortable and the location to the beach was great! Very easy walk to the beach access. We booked this space because of the yard and outdoor space from the photos but when we arrived the yard and space from the photos were assigned to another space. We would have booked another VRBO house that had a yard had this been indicated on the photos or descriptions. The hosts were very nice and welcoming!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home with my wife and in-laws! It had plenty of space for all four of us and was the perfect place to relax during our Folly Beach vacation.The location couldn’t be better. Just a short walk to the beach and only about 8 minutes to Center Street. It was close enough to everything, but still felt peaceful and private.The house was stocked with everything we needed, including plenty of pots and pans for cooking. We also appreciated the abundance of towels (including beach towels) and the four beach chairs they provided.Inside, the home was very clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully arranged. The A/C was a total lifesaver. We were there during extreme heat advisories with temps in the high 90s, and the HVAC had no problem keeping the space cool and comfortable. It always felt amazing to walk back inside after a hot beach day.Our hosts were incredibly kind and communicative throughout the entire process. One note for future guests: there isn’t a washer or dryer, so just be sure to pack accordingly. That said, it didn’t take away from the experience at all.We’ll definitely book with them again, they have several other properties, and this stay set the bar high!

Better late than never!

I stayed at this property over Thanksgiving with my husband and young adult daughter. We had an easy contactless check-in due to Covid that we appreciated. The home was just as advertised and was so well stocked and super cute. The owner left a starter kit of coffee, detergent, etc. so we didn't need to run off to the store before the beach. Check out was super easy as well. We would definitely stay again as it is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping and 2 blocks to beach. Perfect stay - thank you!

A Must!

What an incredible experience we had during our stay. The property is in excellent condition, the owners are amazing and the walk to the beach is short and easy (even when carrying beach stuff). You seriously do not need a car with easy walking distance to any restaurants and shopping you may need while you are there. Folly Beach provides quick access to Charleston and taxi/ride sharing service is available to and from downtown if you don't have a car or want to enjoy some adult beverages and need a ride. My friend and I stayed for a girls week away but I would recommend this property for couples and families as well. We will definitely be repeat guests!

Wonderful place for a beach retreat!

We cannot say enough about the Roofshack at Folly Beach...we have stayed at many VRBOs all over the country. This is the BEST one yet!!! The beach house is decorated with the perfect combination of comfort and simple beauty. The beds are super comfortable ...a must for us. It is one of the cleanest places we have stayed in. The kitchen is fully stocked, the outside grill a big plus and the bathroom with the shower and claw foot tub a wonderful treat. The location is within a short walk to the beach, and within walking distance to the downtown restaurants and shops. We ended staying an extra day because we enjoyed ourselves so much! Many thanks to Katherine and Sam for a much needed r and r! They are perfect hosts!

Beautiful property with great location

It was very clean, the location was amazing, the check in and check out process was seamless, and the property is decorated very nicely. You can tell a lot of thought and effort goes into the upkeep of this place. If we return to Folly Beach we will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Week in the Sweet Hippie Shack

My sisters and I stayed in Hippie Shack for the week to celebrate my 70 th birthday. It was perfect. Just 2 short blocks to the beach! The shack as it is called is adorable. So nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, everything we needed was there. It’s just a short walk to Resturants and Shopping. I recommend Rita’s and The Crab Shack. And Bert’s Store is a fun stop. Katt was very responsive to any questions we had. Thanks Katt for allowing us to stay in your perfect little shack. I hope to be able to come back next year and the year after that and … Pattie C

The Little Things

Upon arrival to this little gem was all the items I was stressing about having to got buy were there! The flat was open, airy, and comfortable. Great location. A chance to meet such nice “neighbors “ and a week to just relax! Kat is a super host.

Clean and well equipped. Exactly as described on the website. Responsive owner (note to self - it is always better when you deal with a local owner who is invested in their property and the community). Lots of hooks! Full length mirror! Very comfortable.

We met in the cold Granite State of New Hampshire, fell in love, sold our houses, threw away the snowshovels, and bought us a perfect shack in paradise. After we fixed her up... you now have the Rathershack in all its glory waiting for you to come and add the next chapter. We thank you in advance for helping us live our dream. We live on site so feel free to stop in for a cold one or advice on where to go hide out, or step out and kick up your dancin shoes. The sign over our door says PARTYville, but more often than not we flip it over so it reads NAPville. Sometimes one leads to the other. You know the drill........
