If you enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature, here is a small private oasis to escape to. Situated in the heart of Prattville, it is a 5-10 minute drive to most local venues. Whether golfing at Robert Trent Jones, enjoying the downtown scene, or some other adventure, everything is close by. Enjoy the covered back deck and pond area, fully equipped kitchen, grill, or find a moment of peace in the quiet room looking into the back yard.

Note: Due to the nature of caring for the Koi pond my mother has to stop by to check the pond skimmers for leaves and other blockages, ensure the water pumps are working properly, and feed the fish. This typically only takes about 5 minutes and no access to the house is needed. There is also an 18 year old cat that has lived at the house that she feeds.

Don't be afraid to say "Hi!" and chat if you want. If you would rather not that is completely fine too. She can text you when she is on her way if you would like or not, just let us know what you prefer.

Additional Note: The "service fee" is the cleaning fee for the stay at the house.

Quiet neighborhood. Older house that has been very well maintained and was very clean. Host was very responsive and friendly. Beds were comfortable. Koi pond oasis in the back was very peaceful and a wonderful bonus! 2 outdoor kitties made appearances and were very curious. :) Our family of 5 stayed overnight, on our way to the beach. It was the same price as a single hotel room in Birmingham. This home was a much better choice! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Oasis

We stayed here while visiting our granddaughter. It was truly a home away from home. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. The host thought of everything a person could need while traveling.

This is actually the house and neighborhood I grew up in. It is a quite neighborhood in just about the middle of Prattville.

My mother had a koi pond built at the house a number of years back and she has maintained it since then. There are a number of koi in the pond, frogs depending on the time of the year, and a diverse selection of plant life so that something is in bloom for a large portion of the year. There is a grill and seating on the back deck for cookouts and to enjoy the scenery.
