Immerse yourself in comfort and convenience whether you're here for academic pursuits, game days, or simply to unwind, our thoughtfully curated space promises a stay as exceptional as your time in Sooner Country. Discover a home where every detail has been crafted with your comfort in mind, making your visit to Norman truly memorable.

House rules:
You'll be staying in someone's home, so please treat it with care and respect.

Checking in and out:
Check-in after 4:00 PM
Checkout before 11:00 AM

During your stay:
8 guests maximum
No pets
Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM
No parties or events
No commercial photography
No smoking of any kind

-No parties or large gatherings allowed.
-Please do not eat or drink anything in areas other than the dining room, bar area or kitchen to prevent unnecessary spills and stains to the furniture or carpet.

Great Norman Property

We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Norman. Great location that was close to lots of restaurants and stores. Property was clean and communication was great. Will stay here again when we’re back in Norman.

Amazing home walking distance to restaurants and stadium

This house is just as nice as the pictures and description. Highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to be close to the OU campus and surrounding restaurants and bars. The host was phenomenal and quick to reply. Hoping to get back up to Norman for another stay soon!

Overall great house!!!

The property was exactly as described in the listing. Lots of accommodations included. Had a spider problem inside the home but other than that it was a great stay. Would definitely go back!!

Family OU football weekend

My daughter and son in law and grandson flew in from Durango CO and met my husband and I for a weekend of OU football. The walk to the stadium was a little far, but we managed it ok. The house had all the things we needed for a great time.

Simply wonderful; ideal location

Our extended family (5 adults, 2 littles) stayed for the weekend while attending a memorial service for a beloved uncle. Modern Norman Retreat was the perfect landing place for us between the weekend’s scheduled events. The property is exactly as presented on VRBO and the host could not have been more responsive or accommodating. The home is ideally situated close to the OU campus and charming downtown Norman. I can’t recommend highly enough for anyone looking to spend some time in the area.

Great house for parents weekend!

This house has literally EVERYTHING you need. The kitchen is fully equipped and so organized! Love that all bedrooms have their own TVs, dresser & closets stocked with extra pillows & blankets. The main bathroom even has 2 bathrobes! The extra bathroom off the kitchen is a huge bonus and would definitely be required if all 3 rooms were used. I can’t think of anything that was lacking!!! The only reason I gave 4 stars on location is because of the noise from Boyd Street but truly the proximity to OU campus made it super convenient.

Nice Choice!

We stayed for a long weekend for our son’s graduation from OU. Six adults stayed, the bedrooms are nice, but they are in very close proximity to each other. The house was a perfect gathering place for our family to enjoy time together. The home is clean, recently remodeled and very nice. There are good spaces to sit and share time together inside and outside. The outside space is a wonderful area to hang out during nice weather, it does lack a little privacy at times (back patio). Overall we were very happy with our stay and owner was responsive during our stay.

What a Pleasant Surprise

Having grown up in Norman and knowing the type of homes in the neighborhood, I was very surprised with the excellent remodeling of the the kitchen, bathrooms and living room of this home. The improved driveway allowed for multiple vehicles to be parked on the property with instant access to the main thoroughfare, Boyd Street. I highly recommend this property to anyone who needs extra space to accommodate family or loved ones staying in Norman for a few days to several weeks.
