This was a lovely visit with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and the shower felt great! We appreciated all of the space for our disabled son's wheelchair. The property was very accessible for him. The management moved the bed for even easier access for us. Thank you!

A Bit More Attention

Check in easy, parking good, building/location good, clean yes, wifi good, stocked not so much, fit our needs yes.Unit has large family room but rooms and bathrooms are small. It's a rental yes, expect furniture accordingly. Family room TV, and others for that matter, require an electrical engineering degree just to turn on, let alone play anything. There were no less than 6 remotes to operate it, instructions were old for a remote that wasn't even there, Main tv, nothing worked, period. There are cable boxes, but the subscription is turned off across the unit irritating. Expect to stream TV on your iPad or go without.

Great Weekend

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Crested Butte. The fall colors were fantastic. The condo was in good shape and clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was great, only 5 min from town and east to get to. It had been a while since someone had stayed there because the master toilet float was stuck and the tank didn’t fill after flushing but we got it working. The coffee pot had a hole and the fireplace didn’t turn on with the switch. I wish parking multiple cars was easier. We met my brothers there and we all came from different directions so we had three cars so the two car limit, even though there were a lot of empty stalls in the garage, was cumbersome but we made it work.

Black Bear 210 - would recommend only with a few fixes

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Black Bear 210 several times and always loved it. However, this unit needs an upgrade! Just a few things that need to be fixed - table is super wobbly, paper products are abysmal and the cheapest possible (this is a luxury rental right?), kitchen needs a new coffee pot (not a 2 cup Mr Coffee maker, no filters), toaster oven barely works and knives are practically unusuable they are so dull....FINALLY - the road outside was under construction and the dust was truly horrible in the unit. We couldn't sit on the balcony or have the windows open. We all left with really red eyes and runny noses. Please let us know next time -

Reviewer Comments: The condo is lovely and well furnished.Loved that we had three bedrooms and baths so that everyone could have their own space. The kitchen was pretty well appointed which we enjoyed, as we cooked most of our meals in the condo. A couple of suggestions...the coffee pot needs to be bigger and the filters need to be provided. That little coffee pot and no filters were an aggravation taking away from the experience. Otherwise, we were delighted with our stay. Thank you!

A wonderful ski vacation in March

Access to the slopes was very convenient and to the shuttle to get access to the town of Crested Butte. The condo was perfect with only one issue related to skiing: the unit is sized for 6 people, but we were only given access to one locker. The locker is really only made for 3 sets of adult skis and boots.Despite that one minor issue, we would definitely return.

Great Locaion

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Condo was very clean and the location from the hill was excellent. As noted in previous reviews from 3+ years ago, the fireplace did not work, the furniture was old and uncomfortable, and the dining table only has 4 chairs. CBMR did a great job with having the condo cleaned and ready for guests, but the owners need to step up and get some new furniture, add a few chairs, fix the fireplace, and take the shelves out of the ski locker so you can store more than 2 pair of skis. For the price, the furniture and fireplace NEED to be updated and/or working. The radiant floor heat was horrible. We left the thermostats either off or set at 65F. The temps inside the unit had huge fluctuations. They would range from 64F to 74F, regardless of the time of day. Every night, the until would get very warm, than very cold. We kept lowering the thermostats, but were unable to get consistent temps. We've been coming to CB for 20+ years, have had our own place and also rented, but will not return to this particular unit unless it is updated. It appeared the radiant heating system used was of poor quality and I doubt anything can be done to remedy the huge swings in temps (use of fireplace may help).

Disappointing

Reviewer Comments: Although more expensive than 2 other condos I was considering, I reserved Black Bear 210 because the master bedroom and bathroom were on the first level (no stairs to climb) and the building had an elevator. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the building, we discovered the elevator was not working. Plus, the stairwell is not marked. I called the front desk to inform the manager on duty that the elevator was not working, and we could not find the stairwell. She said she would have someone come reset the elevator.Between four adult women, we finally found the stairwell and we were able to get my husband and his walker up to the second floor. We were unable to use the luggage cart due to the elevator not working. Two grandsons visited us separately on Friday night and neither one could find the stairwell. And the code is switched for the front and garage doors. On Saturday am, the elevator was still not working. We managed to get my husband and his walker down the stairs and to the truck. When we came back for the commencement ceremony at 1:00 pm, the elevator was still not working. I called the front desk, Scott read the notes about the elevator not being able to be reset and that a repairman from Denver would be coming no sooner than Monday. Scott said he could move us to another building. I said we had not been informed that the elevator couldn't be reset. I said moving at that point wouldn't work since we were leaving on Sunday. He offered a 10 % discount on the condo. Because of the elevator not working we had to prepare and eat 3 meals in the condo rather than going to a restaurant because my husband (and our party) was afraid he would fall down the stairs. The hot tub was not open as I was told by the front desk at check in. And finally, the coffee pot did not work on Sunday am (maybe because the filters are not right for that brand of coffee pot?) We owned condos in the Plaza and Wood Creek. I always thought the Black Bear building looked so nic

Fantastic stay

Property was awesome, close to lifts and the underground parking was a big plus. Also the Elevator with bellhop carts was great for unloading cars and taking baggage up to property. The view was amazing as well. Will definitely be going back there again

Only issues are with operating the tv cable system as it dose not work on tv's located in other rooms, even after calling the property management to come fix the system. Internet goes down on occasion and it is difficult to control the temperature inside the Condo, too hot even with the control turned off.

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect condo for our family with plenty of space. It was very clean which is important to us especially during COVID. The only things that we felt that could be improved was the fireplace and both patio locks. The fire place did not work, the door lock to the patio barely worked and the patio sliding door lock was barely latching. A beautiful place and area. We can’t wait to go back!
