This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. The property is a 3 story townhouse located 5 min from the expressway 285/75 , Cumberland Mall, The Battery, Coca Cola Roxy Atlanta, Truist Park, Jonquil Park, & The Braves Stadium. It’s a 30 min walk from property to the Braves Stadium. I would like to consider it more of a hotel stay. It’s has all the amenities of a hotel. It’s a nice, quiet, peaceful space. I don’t really have a lot of rules except common courtesy. This is a basement apartment. It’s a three story townhouse, and I occupy the first two floors.

Excellent hospitality

The host was very kind and super friendly! The residence was very charming, clean and comfortable! Great location if you plan on seeing the braves play; only 2 miles away from the stadium. The host also made sure we were comfortable during our stay which added to the exceptional experience. Would definitely book with her again!

Easy to get to, walking within 1 mile of things. We could not find the hair dryer, no big deal. However, there was no thermostat control in this unit for the air conditioner, you are at the discretion of the owner. When it did come on there would be an odor of marijuana. At one point it was so strong we had to open the door and stand outside.

I stayed at This Special Place while visiting Atlanta for Blade Show. The property is only 7 minutes drive from Cobb Gallerea, so it was perfectly located. The land lady Tracy was extremely friendly, helpful and communicative. If you're the type of person who likes beige and boring decor.... Then this probably isn't the place for you. I would best describe it as quirky and eclectic. The cloud ceiling is an especially fun feature.

The property was easy to find. Quiet neighborhood but very tight parking and a little bit sketch to be honest. The walkway down to the basement was ok but the blunt wrap at the bottom and the bars on the windows and doors was a bit off putting.The inside was way more than I was expecting. The amount of stickers on all surfaces and the decor was odd. The install of them was weird…like the bedroom door pirate ship sticker was not on correctly and was dragging the floor and touching the ceiling when you opened and closed the door. The ceiling in the bedroom had pillow stuffing with lights to resemble clouds was odd and there wasn’t normal over head lights…it was cloud lights. The bathroom floor was absolutely disgusting and had not been cleaned. We also found a Lee press on style nail on the coffee table.Honestly just could have been cleaner and had less weird decor. Personal opinion on the decor but it just wasn’t clean.

Great location if you’re staying in town for a baseball game. It’s only a few minutes drive to the Battery. Some convenient food options nearby too. Parking is super tight, as this is in a cul de sac in an already tight neighborhood. To be clear…this is someone’s basement. There is someone living above you. There was no bother throughout the night, we didn’t hear much noise coming from upstairs. They have put in some effort to make it inviting, but it does still feel like a basement. Everything was clean. The bed was pretty comfortable. There was the sound of dripping water all night which I didn’t mind, but my wife found it hard to sleep through.

Never received the code to get in prior to arriving. A/C was on full blast and controlled by the rest of the house. Worst of all after checking out host went on a message rampage accusing us of taking things we didn’t. Awful experience altogether.
