Paradise Retreat's Villa Blanca sits atop Ortega Ridge, a well known perch with spectacular views above Summerland and near the exclusive Toro Canyon. In fall and winter months, you can expect to see colorful sunsets known as the "pink moment" to locals. Surrounded by nature you’ll be a short drive from Carpinteria, Montecito, and Santa Barbara.

This modern estate focuses on a minimalist aesthetic with soaring ceilings and wall to wall windows. Contemporary design is featured throughout with twin chaise lounges in the Living Room, stunning chandeliers in the industrial and gourmet Kitchen, and convenient comforts in the Great Room and Media Room. Dual Primary Suites echo spa luxury with a fireplace, dry sauna, and soaking tub. Two more Guest Rooms share a "Jack and Jill" style bathroom, each with ocean views. Tranquility is the goal outdoors with a Zen garden, fountain, fire pit and hammock. The lap pool and built-in spa are the central focus of the pool terrace facing the ocean and island views. Connecting patios on the north side of the home face the mountain views complete with a barbecue and dining area.

Amazing vacation in a beautiful setting!

This property is gorgeous, inside and out. The house is in excellent condition and allowed plenty of space for us to spread out. The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking meals at the house. We were there during a heat wave, and found the pool to be a refreshing spot to hang out. We would return in a heartbeat!

New Years in Montecito

We had a wonderful and restful stay at Villa Blanca over the New Year's holiday. The property was beautifully situated between the mountains and the ocean, the interior furnishings wonderfully contemporary in keeping with the style of the home, and the property was well-stocked with appliances, media (books) and electronics. The temperature was just a bit too cold to take advantage of the pool but we did use the many areas of outdoor seating for relaxing, reading, conversing and a meal or two. The location was also excellent, with easy proximity to dinners, shopping, the historic mission and the botanical garden in Santa Barbara, and for longer sojourns to Ojai, Solange, wineries, hiking, ostrich refuge, etc. We would definitely visit again.

A perfect place to call "home" for a family getaway - mountain view on one side, a glimpse of the ocean over the pool on the other, the views are stunning! The house is beautiful and a nice layout, with lots of gathering spots but also place for people to enjoy some quiet or privacy. Great amenities with all the "creature comforts". We loved it and hope to return soon!

great for larger groups

the property was very nice. we had a few minor glitches that were attended to promptly by paradise. The grill was not really functional and needed to be replaced; there was not clear direction on how to operate the spa heat ( it was rectified within a day but the controller was mis-labeled and there were no instructions in the book.). One of the queen beds was like sleeping on concrete (Paradise brought in a matteress pad.) These were very minor to us and promptly fixed. The view was gorgeous, the property clean.

Spectacular views in Montecito

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful house for two months this winter. The views of the mountains are spectacular, and you also have a distant glimpse of the Pacific. The enormous windows and glass doors make you feel as if you are living outside. The Montecito location is beautiful and quiet, but still convenient to downtown Santa Barbara. One level living was definitely a plus, as was the comfortable media room.
