We loved our stay!! Super clean and plenty of room for our family of 6. Only recommendations I would make is to have TVs in the bedrooms. The twin beds were a little small for our teenage boys but would be great for little ones. Golf cart was a huge plus!! Overall loved our stay!

We loved staying at the Turquoise Door! The house was spotless when we checked in and was exactly as described. The kids loved staying in the bunk room, driving around in the golf cart, and walking to the playground on the path right behind the house. We caught fish, built sand castles, and swam every day and it was great to have a clean and spacious house to come back to when we needed some down time.

Wonderful stay!

The house was beautiful! Walking in the first day to a chilled bottle of wine and a Beach Hut giftcard was a very nice touch. The house had everything we needed and the owners were available and quick to respond. Great stay for our family, highly recommend!

Beautiful house!

It was our second time staying here as family and we just love it! Such a pretty house and great and responsive hosts. The house was well stocked with essentials and close walking distance to playground. Would stay here again!

Family Getaway

Great property. Very well decorated. It had everything you need for a family getaway. Owner was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely rent this place again.

Wonderful Stay!

What a wonderful stay! Communication with Paul and Jill was very easy and booking was straightforward. The house itself was wonderful for my friends and I during our weekend away! We loved the resort - the pool, beach and nearby restaurants and wineries were great. Having a golf cart available was a huge plus too. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Great property for a week at the beach. It hit just the right level of being nice and clean, while also not being so perfect that you stressed too much about the kids inevitably dragging some sand inside.The house is tucked away near the back of beachwalk, which made for a nice, quiet stay while also having the convenience of a golf cart, which the kids loved.

Amazing getaway

This property was an absolute 10/10. Everyone in our group thought it was a great place to stay. The house was comfortable, clean and equipped with anything you would need for your stay. Paul and Jill were very responsive with any questions we had. The golf cart being included was a real plus. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Stay at the Turquoise Door

Family of 10 (including six kids aged 8-16) and had plenty of room for all of us. The home is beautifully decorated, had all of the amenities we needed (and more), and extras that we really appreciated (like the putting green and bocce ball area outside). Great communication with the homeowners as well - very quick to respond and friendly!

First trip to lake Michigan but not our last

We had an amazing week with our family. We enjoyed every minute. We loved our morning coffee on the screened in porch, bocce ball and fire pit at night. The beds were comfy. Property manager excellent. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation! The spacious home met all our needs. We especially enjoyed the screened in back porch and easy access to the playground, as well as use of the golf cart. Our grandchildren had a great time at the pool and fishing lessons. Being so close to Lake Michigan was an added bonus- beautiful beach and sunsets! The hosts were so helpful in planning our stay. Communication was outstanding! Would give 10/10. We are thinking of making a return visit next year.

Wonder location!

Our family had a wonderful time! The house was very clean and kid friendly. Thanks for sharing your home! The golf cart was efficient and helpful when getting to our destination. The community amenities were wonderful! My grandchildren loved the lake beach, kick ball, ping pong, pool, and the fuse ball! The play ground behind tge house was great! Perfect Family Vacation

If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would. The entire resort offered so many amenities for our young family members including a movie night and craft morning. Jill and Paul were the perfect hosts, answering all of our questions before the trip. The house itself comes with everything you need to cook your own meals but there were also options around Michigan City. I’ve already had friends reach out for information on this listing based on our photos. The golf cart was necessary based on the location of the house but we loved the privacy being at the back of the resort. We look forward to coming back!

The owners thought of everything!

Everything you need is at the house! Just pack your bags and enjoy your vacation! The owners have thought of everything...anything you may need to cook a meal, toiletries, sunscreen, beach towels, firewood...the home is well stocked! The home was spotless and we really enjoyed the screened in porch, fire pit, and bocce ball. The resort area has lots to offer and beach access to Lake Michigan is at the end of the main resort road. Jill & Paul replied right away to any questions I had. There instructions for the house that are well laid out and easy to follow. We also really liked that the house was located on a one way road in the resort and there was extra room between the neighboring houses. We would stay here again!
